Ok, concern is happening. Need Marky updates stat
Hope to hear what the prognosis is on Markstrom today. Sucks that he got injured in a game that wasn’t even supposed to be his.
We are well and truly cursed. Averaging a player lost every game doesn’t seem sustainable.
Not that he’s the second coming of Brodeur or anything but good thing Daws cleared waivers because if we had lost him and then immediately lost Markstrom…big yikes.
Maybe it’s just that Allen still has cramps. He needs to eat more bananas.
Hey at least we’ll be cap friendly again
This is why we shouldn’t make jokes about *ahem* other teams and their “problems”. We have our own demons to deal with and it’s extremely early in the season. I hope whatever it is with Marky isn’t too serious.

Imagine the stress if we had to bring in the Columbus emergency goalie with 20 seconds left
At the rate these injuries are going, Mercer’s gonna be the only Devil on the ice by December
My cope is that the Allen/Daws tandem looked great last spring. The issue was us not scoring, not those guys

Was this an emergency recall? If not I think one of the goalies is out long term (presumably marky)
🤷 Well Daws has looked more than capable in his last call ups so if we need to lean on him I feel comfortable with it.
This is why Fitzgerald has been adamant that even with Allen and Markstrom as the lead tandem we needed Daws in the system because you can’t count on 100% health all year long.
There is no question markkstrom is hurt .the way his leg buckled didn’t look good I won’t be surprised if it’s a few months
Love Marky, but maybe they shouldn’t re-sign him….. at least not for 5mil
