Day to day is fine, could’ve been worse
Just need the team to manage being without him for a game or so.

I bet he’s ready to go and they’re just keeping him out tonight so the Panthers don’t target him and try to make it worse

This is a good test for the team. Playoff teams go out there and weather the storm when lose a star player. The Red Wings have crumbled in the past when they lost Larkin. Now is the time to show this is a different team.

That was a long time to hold my breath. Glad to see him skating.
Hope he takes the time he needs to fully recover

Thank goodness they’re sitting him. Don’t need to see him get targeted against the league’s most physical (and arguably dirty) team
Better to let him recuperate longer so it can heal completely.
Thank god. Now if the Wings can beat Florida tonight without him, it’ll just continue to build up their confidence.
Fine with it. Even with him I don’t think we will beat Florida. Not trying to be negative just realistic. But I hope we can goalie them and pull one out.

I’m interested to see what kind of fire Appleton might bring on that first line. Frankly I expect them to compete tonight, a win would be great.

After 4 full seasons, this is only the 9th game he’s missed.
