  1. Day to day isn’t the worst.

Curious what our 1st line is going to look like tonight.

  2. Day to day is fine, could’ve been worse

Just need the team to manage being without him for a game or so.

  3. I bet he’s ready to go and they’re just keeping him out tonight so the Panthers don’t target him and try to make it worse

  4. Okay, good to hear it’s only day-to-day.

This is a good test for the team. Playoff teams go out there and weather the storm when lose a star player. The Red Wings have crumbled in the past when they lost Larkin. Now is the time to show this is a different team.

  5. Finnie/larkin/mbn?

JVR/larkin/mbn to add a lil more experience?

    Finnie/larkin/berggers?

  6. Thank goodness they’re sitting him. Don’t need to see him get targeted against the league’s most physical (and arguably dirty) team

  7. Thank god. Now if the Wings can beat Florida tonight without him, it’ll just continue to build up their confidence.

  8. Fine with it. Even with him I don’t think we will beat Florida. Not trying to be negative just realistic. But I hope we can goalie them and pull one out.

  9. Never thought these words would leave my mouth but thank god he’s sitting out tonight! Smart move.

  10. I’m interested to see what kind of fire Appleton might bring on that first line. Frankly I expect them to compete tonight, a win would be great.

Let’s see what this guy can do, maybe he stirs the pot a little and gives Finnie/Larkin a little working room.

  11. It’s the right call. Good job. Sacrificing one game isn’t worth losing him for a much longer period of time 👏

  12. Fucking figures, going to the game tonight against the Stanley Cup champs and our best player isnt playing

  13. Panthers play dirty. They will 100% try to injure him further if he plays tonight. Good call. He’ll probably be back after tonight
