Love you long time, Ryan Poles. ❤️
Nothing against Loveland but I mean cmon it was obvious Warren should of been first taken among TE
Not much of a difference from those stats lol
I think Ben Johnson just really wanted the TE that comps almost identically to Sam Laporta. Can’t fault him because he’s obviously shown that type of TE can work in his system, but he really should have just taken the better overall talent
I mean it’s really close.
I’m glad he passed bc Warren fits this offense perfectly. But I do think Loveland will turn out to be pretty good in the long run. He’s also younger and usually TEs take time to develop.
Loveland saved Ballard’s job.
Geez some people really lack reading comprehension
I think it’s more of a team/scheme issue than talent disparity.
Yeah Colston Loveland went to the wrong team, but great player in Tyler Warren!
When the Bears selected Loveland I was shocked I didn’t expect that they went in that direction but it’s understandable that Ben Johnson wanted a type of TE that fits his system like Sam LaPorta but they should’ve gone with the better talent in general because TE was not a need for the Bears in the draft at least in the first round and if they wanted TE so bad then Warren was the choice but I’m glad that they and the rest of the teams passed on him and now Warren is just a right pick and I know is early but he reminds me so much on Dallas Clark something like that was needed and now they got it.
Thats not so bad for Loveland isnt it? Our offense is way better designed and Warren is a central piece
Super happy we took Warren, but these stats dont look night and day to me
E: nvm per game vs overall lol
lol, we didn’t even need a te so I don’t know why we would care. Warren would have got about the same production in chicago. IYKYK.
