Honestly…I kinda respect that he went out like this
Leave the game before the game leaves you, he has definitely declined since being traded from here
I somehow completely missed that he joined the Knicks. I really tuned off this offseason.
Injuries probably got to be too much for him. He still had a good career.
6th man of the year is a big part of the Celtics legacy and I won’t forget that he won the award for us
Good bye Mr President
Wow just over two years removed from winning 6th man. He was fun to watch that year
His Philly series was super underrated… we don’t beat them without him
Really wish he elbow wasn’t fucked in the Miami series
Was a fun player to root for when he was going 🫡
Happy retirement, Malcolm! He was awesome when he was here.

Lowest drafted ROTY ever, and a 6MOTY plus a 50-40-90 season. I think that he has had a respectable career
Didnt particularly enjoy his stint for the Celtics or how it ended but he really had a great career for a 2nd rounder
Big fan of Brogdon. He went out as good player still. I hope he enjoys retirement!
He was set to make the roster for the Knicks, who are dangerously thin at guards that can handle and set up others. One final deed to help the Celtics. Preciate you Malcolm. You were good in green, even if the injury bug did get you in the end.
The really interesting thing is, NBA players get paid even after they retire if they’ve played 10 seasons
Whatever he must have been going through was bad enough to where he thought it was worth throwing that pension away. Not that I think he isn’t smart enough to become successful post-retirement, he’s a well spoken man and I’m sure he’ll find success in his second career
Made over $100 mil, probably doesn’t like the constant rehabbing he deals with. Don’t blame him
Really enjoyed watching him, it’s a shame he was hurt for the Miami series. Will be interested to see what he does next.
He was elite for us. We go to the finals 3 years in a row if he was healthy in postseason in 2023
Good for him honestly. He was a good guy for us.
Nothing bad to say about him, great player. Wish him success in his future endeavors!
Tell me he is running for a third term, Mr President!
I’m glad that he had one of his best years with us as a Celtic in 2023 and won 6MOTY. Yes the season didn’t end the way we wanted and he did end up getting worn down by the end of the regular season/playoffs but for awhile he was ridiculously good for us.
