Considering Martin Maldonado for coaching role #Astros #shorts
Can we just hire Martine Maldonado? I mean, hire Martine Maldonado as the coach, then he could be your emergency third catcher. No, I’m joking. Um, but you know, Martin coming in, being a being a coach would be a plus. Um, and then having Diaz and Keratini, but one of the things they need to do is they need to talk to these pitchers about being quicker to the plate, Eric. Our pitchers are not very quick to the plate, and they need to work on that. Um, and so if we are not in the market for another catcher, which I don’t know who’s out there, I think Keratini is a slam dunk because he knows the team. He’s a part of the culture. He has I I think is just as much a part of this clubhouse as Yanner Diaz is. Um and he is a consmate veteran.
