  1. Over Pay ‘em and then sit ‘em with injury. Why else would a free agent sign with Nola

  2. At this point the other teams in our conference should be the ones paying our trainers

  3. Lots of teams have dealt with injuries. Loon being out isn’t outlier to other teams. Pels haven’t had one of the stars go down, thankfully.

This is a big loss. On both ends of the floor. Looney is better than Missi on both ends of the floor. His screening was huge, his connective passing, his rebounding and defense down low. This is a big loss for the Pelicans.

Missi can in a different way give them offensive value, more offensive value maybe with his rim running and lob ability. But he doesn’t make the team better at all and last night proved that to me easily. They’ll have to adapt. Looney’s screening will be big for the shooters on this team and Missi doesn’t provide that. Not good news, but thankfully seems it isn’t too long term.

  4. This isn’t a significant injury.

Proximal tib-fib joint isn’t even a weight bearing joint. He’ll be good.

  5. Just when I thought we would go a full season without injuries

Prayers up for a fast recovery big Loon

Miss you, can’t wait to see you back on the court

  6. Awh man.As a warriors fan I was hoping to have Pels and saints be my backup teams to watch and support. Y’all not doing me any favours out here😭

  7. we need to develop our young bigs. our top four non centers are top notch. poole, jones, williamson, murphy? thats really good! too bad the four centers are three backups and a rookie. only two available to start the year. if one could become starter/finisher level (missi or queen), this is a good team in the west.

  8. Argh, right out of the gate (along with Queen)…. Hang in there, fellow Pels fans! 😓
