I know we gave up the picks to get rid of Niang, but I was kind-of hoping that Luis would be worth one of those 2nd round picks rather than just filler technically needed for the trade to happen.
I wonder who we’ll sign with the open two-way spot. No reason to waive Luis unless we have somebody else in mind
I knew something was up when he barely got any time in the last few preseason games. Kendall Brown (who I do hope they sign to the other 2-way), Bridges, and Moore were getting time over him and they’re just camp invites on 10 days.
I wonder if this was a case of him just not vibing with Mazzulla and the coaching staffs expectations. Could also be they never thought much of him in the first place and just wanted to dump Niang’s salary over getting somebody they liked back.
Seems like they’ve like Harper for awhile now. He hasn’t stood out much to me but this FO has been good at finding contributors on the fringes of the league lately.
Just shows how hard it is to be in the NBA. Being drafted or getting signed is not guaranteed.
That’s bummer I actually liked him
Dang I really thought that he was someone the Cs were excited about and a big reason it took 2 picks to offload Niang’s salary. Testament to just how tight money is around the league that it takes 2 2nd rounders to offload an $8mil rotation player.
welp. the 30 seconds of joy watching his college dunk highlights were fun atleast
I hope we can use his 2 way spot for Drew Timme
That sucks, picks 100% wasted now
But i was starting to think it would be nice to have one of the other guys on a 2 way
Some no name bum who doesn’t even deserve a post on Reddit.
We hardly knew ya
My mom always shits on the carpet in my bedroom and wipes with my bed sheets. The celtics are my escape
Wait, The Celtics gave up Georges Niang, 2 2nd round picks and the guy they traded for? This seems like an egregiously bad move from a GM
