BREAKING: SAN JOSE SHARKS CLAIM DEFENSEMAN VINCENT IORIO FROM WASHINGTON CAPITALS
The San Jose Sharks have claimed Vincent Ayoro from the Washington Capitals. I’m JD Young of Locked on Sharks and Ioro is a former second round pick of the Capitals from the 2021 draft. He was picked 55th overall 6’3 201B right-handed defenseman uh who turns 23 next month. Uh Ioro played last season with the Hershey Bears in the AHL. put up 20 points, including five goals in 67 games. Um, and for the Sharks here, it looks like they’re trying to add some potential one, a potential young player in Ioro, and another right-handed shot on what is a bit of a crowded blue line, but with the Sharks uh defense being the way it’s been early on in the season. It’s another swing of the bat for Mike Greer as he tries to find some long-term pieces.
