Fred Warner might return for the playoffs if we’re lucky

  1. I was pretty surprised they ruled him out straight away, figured there must be some pretty messy ligament damage.

When I found out he had dislocated the ankle I was actually pretty optimistic we could see him towards the end of the season again. Praying!

  2. Yea the conversation from the doctors are gonna be like “are you out of your minds?”

  3. What they do at the trade deadline will be more telling as to his actual timeline of recovery.

  4. I had a very similar injury in a very similar way and that’s not insane. I was back up and running about 8 weeks after surgery. Warranted I never was under such high impact or intensity trials but he’s got 10 weeks or so to figure it out.

  5. Only for the super bowl and not a second earlo, even if it’s a possibility. That dude is our future and we’re not in a position to be messing around with that.

  6. Depends on how they make the playoffs tbh. If they’re a 7th seed at 9-8 I don’t think it’s worth the risk.

  7. Picture this: we make it to the SB, Fred starts. 3 forced fumbles, 7 tackles for loss of yrds, and an int pick six. Wins SB MVP. Don’t wake me up yet.

  8. I hope he’s in Germany on Sunday at a stem cell therapy clinic for the week after injury ideal timing for such treatment. It’s the one thing that can accelerate his recovery given surgery along with bone and joint resetting being clean.

  9. As a Bucs fan, holy fuck do I feel horrible this happened. I was hoping to win, but not this way.

Hope this report is right, and we run into you guys again in the NFC Playoffs with both teams fully healthy, for the game as it should have been.

  10. If we are NFC championship game and he’s cleared, let’s go, he’d want that too.

    If not then no.

  11. No way

And read how ridiculously open-ended that statement is. It amounts to little more than “we’re going to ask to see if the impossible is possible, just in case”

  12. Nah let him heal. Honestly I’m just pissed that he’s gonna miss out on all-pro and all the individual accolades.
