Durant on the Luka trade: “Luka Doncic is a 25 yr old superstar who’s expected to be there [in Dallas] for the rest of his career. He probably shed a tear for real when he got traded. And then you go into LA, you look at that situation, it’s like damn this is actually pretty cool to be out here too”

The entire Lakers fan base has welcomed Luka as the face of the franchise and everyone in the organization has jumped through hoops to make him feel at home. I can confidently say Luka is going to retire with the Lakers after winning multiple championships
Not even a probably, he was bawling during his tribute video
Still cant believe we have him. Let alone even understand it.
KD needs a podcast or something when he hangs it up.
I liked that game with mic’d up Luka and the comment about KD toe on the line, it was funny. Just rewatched it last month.
When you try to fill the word count requirement and it’s 11:57pm
He aint wrong
AD is a champion and Laker Legend but with the way he looking right now this trade looks better every day
We were starting to gel as a team last season no lie but our future was looking real mid post Bron
Despite how this season goes im still hopeful for Lakers cause we got Luka
Durant wishes he could play with LeBron confirmed but knows he can’t.
KD lowkey one of my favorite players to watch that’s never put on the purple and gold.
LA is where every player wants to end up eventually. It’s a basketball mecca, with diehard fans. It’s the most storied basketball team of all time. Not to mention it’s one of the best cities in the world, for entertainment. Players just have to stack enough cash in their careers before making the move. Also make enough of a name for themselves, so that LA will sign them to a contract that makes it worth it for them to leave their smaller market team. LA is expensive as shit, man.
Even though I know KD is a great player I really can’t bring myself to like him. The trade to the Warriors really ruined that small stretch of season and still impacts my view of the NBA today.
It’s such a fucking shame he did that because I was always tuning in when he was in OKC.
