Falcons Surprise Bills + Bears Earn Revenge vs Commanders on MNF

Steve, where were you last night? Uh I was in New York City, Chris, for the double header. Last double header were in New York City. Uh we’ll be at Detroit Tampa Bay. They changed uh because it’s such a prime time big game with teams, but uh had had eyes on both games last night. So um who won the night was the talk after the games. Jeff Albrich won the night. No doubt. I agree. Jeff Albrich won the night. A lot of people were going to talk about, you know, the quarterback duel. There really wasn’t a duel cuz I didn’t think either guy played like fantastic and you know it ended up being the other game cuz as soon as you turned on Atlanta Buffalo it was like man this is going to be a fist fight and made it that way. He did. Well the injuries made it that way too. I mean, like every team’s got injuries and you know, you see the Bucks doing what they’re doing without guys outside, but to make those adjustments like Josh Palmer was going to be a big part of that game plan and he goes down uh in the football game and I just thought ultimately great plan with the blitzes, great plan with the rushers, the contained guys, you know, knowing Josh’s escape routes and that sort of thing. I thought they did a great job, but ultimately the Bills had opportunities, man. and and you know when you’re in crunch time and you’re giving you know jet sweeps to Elijah Moore or you know Shavers isn’t sitting down in the zone or Josh who you know did not play his best game by any stretch of the imagination and this had a lot to do with it. [ __ ] throw the ball. Don’t flip the ball. Throw the ball. Don’t Brett Favre of me. I mean like you got it right there on a money down. So I didn’t think the Bills were good enough in money downs. Um and and it ended up being their supporting cast didn’t make the plays. You watch the again, we’re going back to like two teams that guys got guys hurt outside, Steve. The Bucks have a bunch of guys hurt. Tess Johnson lays out and catches the ball in the end zone. You know, it’s just and and for whatever reason, I didn’t think Joe Brady had a a great game plan. I think they got scared shitless of the, you know, sticking to the run game and that’s what got him back in it and then went away from it. Yeah. I I look at Dion at left tackle, Chris. He struggled against New England and he still doesn’t look right. And if he’s not going to be able to pass, I mean, look at what an Atlanta brings to the table, you know, as far as edge. I just I just thought you could see Josh was really it he forces uh people to make him look uncomfortable a lot, but you could tell he was skittish. Like he just he wasn’t comfortable at all. And this is five straight opponents for Atlanta they’ve held under 300 yards. Like this is like they’re real. They’re they’re absolutely real. They’re they’re they’re super real. I think Terrell back in the back end’s a huge asset to have. Um, you know, we’ve talked about the youth that they got in the draft and and have gotten plays from guys early in the season that you saw show out like when they went to Minnesota and dominated that Sunday night game. So, as awesome as Tampa has been, like Atlanta’s here like the what they what they bring to the table. Like I was going through the touches too on the offensive side like like uh Bejian is he’s at over seven yards a touch now. His average was like around 4.9 or five and he’s averaging over 20 and a half and then him and Algier last night combined for 36 touches along with Drake London having 10 catches. Like that’s that’s an onslaught you got to deal with, you know, when you start looking at them offensive side. So, uh, they I mean completeness of a team and knowing that a defense like in a monster situation now. Now you got all the eyeballs on you. Now you go out to San Francisco who is as hard to watch the team as there is in the league. You have to feel good about going out there and getting a win, but it’s a lot easier said than done. You know this league and you know how different teams are week to week. But Atlanta’s got to feel great going out west for this monster game. They got to feel great about it. I mean, we said coming into last night, we were talking about on the live show two things. Number one, we’ll know a lot more about who Atlanta is after tonight. And it turns out that they’re a [ __ ] I mean, they, you know, they the 30 nothing game to Carolina is the blemish, but other than that, you know, they’ve done a fantastic job um generally. And you talk about some of the the great teams that we think are great teams in this league year like the Bucks. They start the season out and they fight the Bucks tooth and nail and uh you know what they did last night was really impressive. It just wasn’t a good matchup for Josh and for for the Bills like and we said that coming in. I I remember and they started 4-2 last year as well and there was that that hiccup where they lose to Baltimore and they lose to Houston and you know New England had that kind of same feel you know where Josh gets hit hard last week and he starts to press a little bit he gets frustrated. I thought that was going to be that kind of game for him and you know I we knew it would be tough sledding but you talk about like people’s reaction to the game. We should be making a lot more about Atlanta than we are Buffalo. I I you know, like to me, Buffalo is going to be fine in the places that they’re fine. They’re going to get guys back offensively and be [ __ ] just fine. Defensively, they got the same problems that they had week one. And they’re worse with guys down like when when Jones goes down with a calf in in in pregame, you got three defensive tackles, and I don’t love the tape on all those defensive tackles at all. And you talk about pass rush, they just couldn’t get a pass rush at certain times in the game. And Bernard gets hurt. They actually looked better in the second half without him. Um but but the safety plays really poor and you know what Atlanta’s missing guys too. Bowman’s down I think in that game and D Alford to me was one of the studs on defense for that for that group. I mean like a guy who had to step in and kind of got his job taken but then he’s ready when it’s time to go. I just think Jeff Alrich did a great job and I thought uh Joe Brady got a little bit out coached. I think Joe Brady got his butt kicked a little bit last night and that happens. Um especially when you don’t have a full deck. Yeah. And just to just to add to that, Chris, the Bri has a really good history against Josh, looking back to it’s the solitary. Yeah. Yeah. Exactly. When you look back to 2021 with when Brook took over as a DC for the Jets, when you compare Josh’s matchups from 21 to 24 versus the Jets compared to just across all opponents, you see a drop in completion rate, you see a drop in pass rating, you see an uptick in turnover worthy plays. So, you know, like look, I Josh is the best football player in the world, but historically he just hasn’t performed to his standard against. So, you know, there’s something he’s figured out. And I think he just there that that pressure plan he had was awesome in terms of using the athleticism of the linebackers. Ellis and Diablo were all over the place. Edge guys, too. Like Walker, Ebeti, you saw these guys dropping out like taking away hot reads. Anyada Anya played really well last night. Manis. Yeah, absolutely. It it felt like to me like almost um like you think about like the Steelers the best their best performances when you don’t know whether Watt’s coming or he’s dropping out. Hi, is he coming? Is he dropping out? That’s what it felt like. They had a great plan uh for third downs in this game. Well, one of the nice things about it is they don’t have any any single guy up front that’s like, “Okay, he’s the guy.” So, so Scheme is not going to be dicted. You know how when you got a great wide receiver, you force the ball to him. Like, it doesn’t [ __ ] matter. We’re going to call the best call. It doesn’t matter if Walker’s going to drop in coverage, if it’s going to be Pierce, if it’s going to be, you know, any of these guys. Like, we’re just going to make the best call. We’re going to make the most aggressive call. And and, you know, to put a bow on the thing with Atlanta, like we haven’t said Bejian Robinson’s name so far in this breakdown. It’s almost self-evident like at this point how much of a problem he is. um in the passing game as well. The way he pulls coverage out of the hook zones and and and opens up, you know, uh space in the middle of the field, it it just and Penn is ripping the ball. Pennix is ripping the ball. The throw he made to London, he ripped that ball in the red zone. So, you know, like first takes going to lead this morning and probably led with what’s wrong with the Bills. What’s wrong with the Bills is everybody’s [ __ ] hurt and their defense wasn’t that good to begin with. Mhm. Okay. So, like if if they’re going to do it, they’re going to have to outscore some people unless they make a big move at the deadline and get a lot better safety play or and I think they need more than one move if if we’re being honest defensively. Um it just is what it is. But I’m not going to first take you guys and I want Falcons fans who are in here to know this. You’re a [ __ ] you got a good [ __ ] football team and and that that to me is the lead last night. You know, I I hate the fact that everybody leads with what’s wrong with the Bills, and we did it, too. But the FA the Falcons were predictably a tough matchup for that group. And it does remind you of last year when like Josh goes down to Houston. Demetico Ryan’s another cover three dominant team in down in Houston and I think that was on the heels of the Baltimore game and he has these hangovers. Like this team just they take a minute to get out of the funk. The good thing for them is they got the by-week coming up. They can get some guys healthy and they need guys to hurry up and get back. Yeah. I I I I thought one thing that stuck out, Chris, just the difference in Baltimore while we touch on them in the New England game and I’m not a you know, you got to have this or you know, immediate response. It it does show they they needed a number one. That’s the first time I said it in two years. Yeah. That they haven’t had one. And then even last night, you know, it just gets so uh, you know, in the in the moment it gets so blown out of proportion because you’re down two scores on the road. That place hasn’t had a Monday night game in forever. The place is rocking and things, you know, in in in a microscope, everything’s bigger and that and it just stuck out again. So, to your point, I think they’ll be a lot better uh, you know, when everybody does get healthy. They know what the goal is. I thought, you know, going into the New England game, I thought a loss was a good thing. You don’t want any more of this extra pressure that you already have on you as far as people’s talking about undefeated and all that nonsense. So, it’s it’s it’s good. You you’re humbled going into a buy. You have guys that you’ve done it before. They really need to get the O line going because the balance of Cook uh I believe doesn’t get talked about enough because of how much everybody likes Josh. But when you can run the ball and he’s as elusive as anybody and he could throw him the ball too, that’s it’s an extension of the run game and that’s helps any offense. But uh yeah, I I don’t want to take any more credit away from Atlanta and defensive plan. It was awesome. And the and the last thing is this. If you’re the Bills, man, you know, and and this is like a Dlineman thing, but Joey Bosa, you work all day to get a sack to get on the board and you know, he sets up second and 16 and Ed Oliver’s off sides. And so, you know, it’s like a double whammy. you’re taking money out of my pocket. And you know, the next play, I think it goes first and five and Bejian goes to the house. Yeah. So, you know, there’s not just that, but there’s a penalty uh at the beginning of the game that negates I think it was a Benford penalty that negated the um the fumble. Mhm. Which changes the game and and so you just can’t play with your food. I thought they play with their food two weeks in a row, but they lost to a good football team. Um, if you are targeting a safety at at the at the break here, and you guys bring up an interesting point cuz I I feel the same way, Steve. You look at the Bills, like they’ve been missing a number one for some time. Mhm. It’s kind of like there’s water coming out of different spots in the dam. Like, which spot do you want to plug? Like, do you want to make your defense a little bit better or do you want to go make a big splash move for a wide receiver? Like, to me, I I would air on the side of defense. I I would and but the only trouble is like I don’t know how deep the safety market is uh at the trade deadline this year. Agreed. I I was reading and I’m looking at like names like Jamal Adams and I can’t with authority say whether or not he’s playing as well um as he’s in the box. Correct. you need you need you need guys that can play out in the field and and um so I don’t really know like you see Duggar’s name uh but they’re never going to send him in division like what so they’re kind of between a rock and a hard place at safety um and you know there there’s plenty of places that that you could maybe say hey let’s throw some more let’s throw some more at the pass rush but I I I don’t know yeah the safety play has been tough Chris I also think what you saw last night was kind of this continuation of um the the offenses that tend to be the bad matchups for the Bills are the teams that want to run the football downhill. Like you saw what Baltimore did to them week one. Yeah. Detroit scores 40 points on them last year and then this game because I don’t know sometimes I look at this Bills defense and I feel like they kind of built the thing to be able to beat the Chiefs which makes sense because that’s that’s who you got to beat to get out of the AFC. you know, that’s that’s why you get a coverage backer with Bernard, you know, Russo and Epanester, these like, you know, better run defenders than pass rusher type guys because you got to be able to stop the run in light boxes. Um, but they run into these games where, you know, the the it’s more of like a like a physics problem where you have, and this is something that I thought the Atlanta staff did really well, they use motion to kind of pull safeties into the box and you had like you had like Rap and Bishop at the point of attack trying to fit a 300lb guard. That’s half the problem is um they’re not great in the run fit and they’re not great tacklers and you know I I you know so and there were multiple instances last night where you see Rap in the right place but he just can’t get a guy down or that sort of thing and so I I’m with you. It is a physics problem and we talked about this in after you know Baltimore games and that sort of thing but Baltimore didn’t lose him the the the whole thing last year. What lost him the whole thing last year was they couldn’t cover anybody in that Kansas City game. And I got bad news for everybody. Kansas City and we’ve been we’ve been talking about that offense is going to be [ __ ] terrifying. There’s no way that defense holds Kansas City to under 35 points. And that’s what it’s going to take. And that’s not a healthy thing to ask of your quarterback every time you play that team. So they get your boy Rico in that downhill run game. Alphab. Oh [ __ ] Yeah. Rico said, “Buckle up.” Get her ticket, fellas. That’s got to feel good, man, to run through your old team like that. Hell yeah. Nothing better. You know, beating your old team’s fun, you know? Um, remember we beat the Rams a couple times, but I but you know, after the game, I went and chopped it up with the homies, you know, outside the locker room. Like, they’re my buddies. But, it feels good to beat the your old team. You know, this football season, Bet MGM wants to give you another chance at first touchdown scores. With Bet MGM second chance promotion, you’ll get your stake back in cash if your first touchdown score second instead. Bet on any Pro Football player to score the first touchdown of the game. If you’re right, you win, which is which is my favorite part of the ad read. If you’re right, you win. If your player scores second, you get your stake back in cash. Be sure to take advantage of this offer. And if you haven’t signed up for Bet MGM yet, use bonus code greenlight and you will get up to a $1,500 first bet offer on your first wager with Bet MGM. Bet MGM, make it legendary. All right, so Chicago and Washington. I just got done buzzing through the all 22 for uh Chicago because like what I heard in real time was like, “All right, Caleb outplayed Jaden.” I don’t think anybody outplayed anybody. That was just uh kind of an ugly football game. Really, my biggest takeaway was Ben Johnson’s screen game is [ __ ] it’s disgusting. It’s filthy. And and he’s, you know, it was a reality in Detroit where, you know, when you watch certain play callers, like there’s such a delta in the NFL when it comes to play callers. You know, you watch some play callers like Kal Shanahan, you’re like, “Oh, every little little detail like matters. Everything’s intentional. Everything spacing, like whatever. And when you watch Ben Johnson, it’s a lot the same way. Every motion is tactical. Every shift is tactical. And um what he has, which he didn’t have last year, and I don’t think Caleb’s there as the passer, you know, like as far as like comparing him to Jared Goff, but what he is different is like you can run speed option down at the goal line. um you know, you you can motion, you know, late and and and you’ve got a nubside and roll him out on uh on on money down. And it’s just like if he can get the throws down, which he was a little bit shaky last night, wet ball, I know the whole thing. Some of the ball placement, ironically, I have no problem. I don’t have as big a problem with the ball that everybody’s killing Troy Aman over. Did you see this whole thing? Chicago thinks Troy Aman hates Caleb Williams because he was nitpicking about the ball placement last night. You know, the crosser backed up that he didn’t put out in front of 14. I got no problem with the placement on that ball. Don’t Troy Aman me, but there were other moments in the game where I’m like, placement could be a little bit better. If he gets those things down, the velocity that he throws the ball with, the ability to throw it off platform, Ben Johnson’s going to, you know, he’s going to have a nightmare fuel offense with this guy under center. I don’t know how you feel about it. Um, I think the other guy, Jaden’s bonafide. I just think he made some mistakes in this game. He fought hard to get him back, but you can’t drop the [ __ ] ball on third and one icing the game. And the pick in the red zone was a little bit uncharacteristic to me. It’s funny. I We’re sitting there watching the game, waiting to come on last night, and they get the ball, what is it, six, six and change before the fumble. And I’m thinking to myself, I don’t know how many, not this quickly in his career. I don’t know how many other guys in the league at the quarterback position I would take over him in this instance knowing his elusiveness, knowing just his smarts about where to get the ball and and taking care of the football and knowing you can run this clock out and the game’s over. And sure enough, they come out and they do get a couple first downs and they’re up two 304 left. You’re at the 50 yard line. You got a ball that you got a guy that’s been running it. He turned it over a couple times and and was sloppy and then poof, it’s gone. And then I wanted to see Caleb shut the door and and they did it with the run game. I thought calling toss was risky. Uh but Swift was feeling it, man. Uh I I thought it was I thought it was a hell of a job uh by Chicago shutting the door, getting close enough because that’s everybody’s favorite thing to talk about and favorite thing to nitpick about coaches. You know, you you could have gotten closer or this like you you got to gift in a fumble. Yeah. You’re going to make take make the most of the opportunity. Your quarterback’s got to make some plays. I thought the third down uh throw to Lovelin was perfect because that was the one you needed and then you could still throw the ball, you could roll out, you have everything at your will and they decide to run it uh and get two more first downs with Swift who again was awesome. I I I still think he’s he’s underrated player. I love the way he catches the ball. He’s stronger. You saw that on the long touchdown how guys just fall off him. You’re starting to see this offense more. You mentioned the screens. I don’t think we’ve seen anything uh close to what we’re gonna get as far as their tight ends in the screens, too. So, um I I they it it’s a it’s it’s good to see, man. It’s an awesome fan base. And Scott and I were talking about this morning on our pile just like like 85 is a long [ __ ] time, man. And like you got some lifer Bear fans, you know? It’s it’s it’s and and they’re at the same position last year as they were, you know, right here. and they they lose the the Hail Mary and it goes downhill. But this is more sustainable. Uh I think, you know, they got playmakers on the defensive side. They came up big and um they’re going to be in this that division. I think, you know, with Detroit looking, you know, pretty mortal Sunday night against what I think is still the best team in the league. Uh that that division is going to be a brawl and it’s awesome to see that the Bears have the goods to be in the mix and that’s all you could ask for right now. Yeah, the division’s a [ __ ] man. and and they certainly they’re one of those teams that you wouldn’t be surprised if at the end of the year they’re one of those teams you don’t want to play and one of the things is like the offensive line signing in um in Tunis really worked out um and Darnell right you talk about like that toss play like he’s just moving bodies out of the way on on the um on the perimeter I I I love watching him block in space like Dolman’s been great too Dolman’s been great so like you’re building around a quarterback on his rookie deal who happens to be a franchise quarterback and I think the Bears Bears fans can like take a sigh of relief at this point and say, “Hey, take a breath. You got your guy, okay? Like he is the guy.” Now, I I’m nitpicking here and saying, “Hey, ball placement could be better.” There were things that Jaden Daniels could do a lot better last night. Neither guy played their best game, but to win that game for Caleb and for for the Bears, who last year, I think, lost like seven one score games, they just didn’t win these games. and and you know, games came down to kicks and freak things happen and you know, but to find a way last night and certainly the Commanders unforced error, but but you got to take advantage of those things and they did. And and Caleb’s got a big personality, Chris, and just a little thing here is last year really, I think, hurt him cuz, you know, he’s from here. There’s so many people here, the private high school deal, and you’re you’re either with his high school or you’re against him. And this was a big deal for him to come back and know that Jaden was was the better player last year and has been the better player in this window that he’s always going to get compared to. Uh to see his guys rally around I thought it was a big deal. They’re both great. They’re both going to be great, you know, and it’s good for football. that whole class, you know, we were talking about the other day, but like Drake May, who who’s making a case for maybe being the you saw Deon McCordi, Dev was like, “Hey, man, like the best quarterback in the class is Drake May.” And Barry said, “Let me know when he gets to an NFC Championship game.” And Devin McCordi said, “We don’t count NFC or AFC Championship games. He’s on the Patriots. We count Super Bowls.” So that’s the standard up there in New England. And I think Drake’s doing a fantastic job. these guys too. Um, and don’t forget Bo Knicks and uh, anybody else? Pennix last night. This could be the go down as I mean it’s been said before, but a historically good class that’s going to carry the next generation of fandom. Like it took a second, you know, when when all those guys retire, you’re like, who are going to take their place? Like it can’t just be Josh and Patrick and Joe. There have to be and that crop is awesome. Well, e just be even more so looking at what I watch every Saturday. Be happy you got one of those guys now because it’s not pretty, man. There’s there’s not a lot coming. Yeah. Uh and you like you said to your point with the Bears in the window. Uh it’s it’s it’s really cool. Uh really cool. It sure is, man. Um anyway, Steve, I don’t know if there’s anything else that uh caught your eye Sunday, but uh um I just I made the point this morning. It feels like a half a year since we watched the Vikings play last. Well, we watched him play Chicago, I feel like. And I I’ve watched my fair share of Vikings this year because I I like the international games and I bet the Browns that morning. Woke up and bet the Browns. Okay. I have not gotten up for those games. So, I I’m dying to see who their quarterback is, what they look like. Uh I think they got they got a pretty They got the Eagles, right? They got the Eagles this weekend, which is really tough match up for the Eagles. Yeah, but yeah, but they had a they had a they had an offensive meeting. It’s all hashed out. Eagles had an offensive meeting. Okay, we’re good. Yep. It’s good. As an Eagles fan, I’m not looking forward to watching Jefferson and Addison run wild on this secondary. No, I mean that that that’s a tough part. I’m not looking forward to I mean, you talk about like, you know, quarterback who’s not seeing it right now. Like here’s a a changing picture, an everchanging picture. Um but yeah, you’re right. This is going to be a back against the wall game for the Eagles this weekend. Steve, we actually have some good one:00 games this weekend. This past slate sucked ass, dude. I I made a point to every Sunday at the one:00 slate, I’m keeping track of how many teams can make the conference championship game from the one:00 slate. We never get any teams. Last week, I’ll give you the Rams Colts because they’re in first place. it. I don’t know that the one:00 slates as good as we thought it was going to be. Yeah, I know. That’s what I’m saying. Look, like what do we got? We got Browns. I mean, this this Yeah, you got Browns fins. You got Hell yeah. Browns fins, baby. Browns fins. I mean, Panthers Jets. Chaos watch. Panthers Jets. Um, and New Orleans Chicago. Dude, Rattler’s not bad. I just want to say that. Was he in that class, too? Yeah, I think he Yeah, Rattler’s not bad, dude. He was the next one, right? Cuz they waited like two days after all the guys went in the first round. He’s kind He’s not two days worse than the other guys. He’s not two days worse than everybody else. He He’s He’s He’s maybe like a day worse. Fifth round. Yeah, fifth round. I think he’s a fine player. Um but we do get Colts Bolts, we get uh Giants, Broncos, which all of a sudden is a lot of fun. We get Washington Dallas. Um and and we also get Eagles and Vikings as we just talked about. And Raiders Chiefs, look out. [ __ ] happens. Weird [ __ ] happens. Yeah, we’ll talk about it during the lock show. They uh um Yeah, there’s a lot of panic air in the district, man. After last night, they thought they were going to be cruise sailing going into that Kansas City Monday night game. And now I think they got a must-win at Dallas. Uh you don’t you don’t want to be three and five after a trip to Kansas City. Who’s rushing the passer for that group? I mean, like, you know, it’s Dude, it was wet. It’s hard. It’s hard. I know it’s hard pass rush, but you know, you watch it. They have to manufacture a lot of it. Yeah. Um they tackling tackling, too. I mean, I saw that when they went down to Atlanta and lost them, like it seems like it’s a a leaguewide issue. It always is. I always try and temper the feelings because September to me still is the preseason, especially for things like that, tackling, blocking. Um, so you gota you got to show improvement, but uh I mean Dallas’s offense is has looked good, but they’ve been their defense has been a get-right game for every team. They’ve every over’s come in. I’ve had them on the locks. I will try and get them again if I can get get my first pick to have the Cowboys over. I I that should be north of 55 maybe. Um the way the Commanders, you know, on on clean turf with with Jaden and McLaren back, dude. I’m just thinking about teasers here. My teaser my teasers went up in smoke last night. me and like a million other people. So, Vegas has got some house money they’re playing with going into Sunday, I think. Speaking of Vegas, you could get 21 and a half points with the Raiders in a three-team teaser this Sunday. Oh, all day, dude. All right, Steve. We’ll see you later in the week, null. Thank you.

Chris, Stanford Steve and Nolan break down the pair of Monday Night Football battles in week 6. The Atlanta Falcons defense had Josh Allen scrambled in Atlanta, and Bijan Robinson, Michael Penix Jr and Drake London came to play. In Washington, the Commanders were hoping to avoid a last second ending against the Chicago Bears for the second year in a row but it was unavoidable and this time, the Bears walked away with the victory on the leg of Jake Moody. A small taste of redemption for the kicker and a little revenge for Caleb Williams and Chicago.

  1. As someone who knows defense a million times better than I do, does Asante Samuel Jr (if healthy) or CJGJ (despite potential locker room character issues) help the Bills’ issues on the back end? It appears they are practically free this year and the cap space is almost zero.

  2. As a Falcons fan, for better or worse, it becomes second nature to watch a game where the team plays well, especially Bijan and Drake, and not actually talk about how well they played. Bijan really destroyed them and the whole segment is what's wrong with the Bills. Thanks for at least acknowledging it and speaking at least a smidge on ATL. It's the Falcons fault for never being relevant long enough to talk about I reckon 😆

  3. Where did you hear that Caleb outplayed Daniels during the game? Certainly not from Buck and Aikman. All they did was praise Daniels, and criticize Williams.

  4. Atlanta Falcons had 3 receivers out Mooney, Hodge, and McCloud. Atlanta Falcons' both of their starting offensive tackles were out, and their 3rd offensive tackle Storm Norton is also out.

  5. No one’s talking about the falcons injuries 3rd sting RT 4th string LT WR2 out WR3 out and nickel corner out they were pretty injured themselves

  6. Joe Brady is so overrated. The bills passing game is josh allen holding the ball for 5 seconds waiting for someone to get uncovered deep. Notice that the bills only got good last year when they started running James cook more and throwing less. Zac robinson is light years ahead of joe brady and Zac gets a lot of hate.

  7. At the beginning of the season, I thought BUF was looking really good, and Allen didn't have to play hero ball for them to win, unlike previous seasons. But they don't look very good, right now.

  8. Hot take – the Bills will be a wild card team at best. I think we tend to watch them through the frame of last season's success, rather than the barely average play that they have shown us this year. The Bills have beaten the 1-5 Ravens, 1-5 Dolphins, 0-6 Jets and 1-5 Saints, but lost to the 2-2 Pats and 2-2 Falcons. The Pats have a very winnable schedule and could just get away from the Bills who still have some 1st place matchups to go.

  9. The Eagles have lost Josh Sweat, Milton Williams, Brandon Graham, Bryce Huff from last season and 1st rounder Nolan Smith is on IR, so their edge rush is very anaemic and led by Azeez Ojulari. They have also lost man mountain Mekhi Becton from that dominant O Line, after Kelce's retirement, and with Dickerson down – they just aren't a dominant unit any more – and that exposes Hurts's slow processing, and his lack of short area quickness in the pocket.

I think the Eagles desperately need Carter, Quinyon and Dickerson back – because they are hitting a well rested Vikes team who should get back at least another 2 or 3 of the 8 starters they have been down most of the season – as well as Harrison Smith and Darrisaw getting pretty close to full fitness.

  10. I'm not on board with the Bears yet. The Commanders offered that game up on a silver platter 3 times and they barely took it, and I'm not sure that the Commanders are all that either. They are really missing McLaurin, Daniels mistakes are costing them this season, and did Deebo even make a play? The Bears had their share of luck to overcome a struggling Raiders team and Caleb still seems to be struggling to read a defence and he is still the least accurate QB in the league – an honour that he has dominated since week 1, 2024. His schoolyard ball is difficult to defend, but Kyler, and Richardson have shown us some other paths that style of QB can take.

  11. Dude in the middle really being a dck head and don't wanna give ATL the credit frfr. ATL had players out just like buffalo and they clearly seen Josh Allen trying to do everything he could to win and ATL was stopping him in his tracks. They not saying that ATL lil boyed the Bills, they gotta talk about things from week 1 like they wasn't thinking about it when they picked buffalo to manhandle the Falcons 😂 They got to eat all that crows 🐦‍⬛ shit 💩

  12. The same thing that happened in week one happened here. The Bears take an early commanding lead, the refs step in to keep the game entertaining and close, the other team gets momentum and takes the lead. The Bears are left sputtering after all the calls go against them.

    Fortunately, Jayden choked hard.

You could tell the refs were done with the calls by the final drive. The Bears were allowed to execute there, but on the TD drive with the throw to Rome, the ref threw a phantom illegal formation flag because the game would have been nearly over had the Bears been allowed to score a TD there.

Against the Vikings, JJ got hot in the 4th and the Bears had been denied being too far ahead so we lost. If the refs hadn't gotten flag happy to keep it close, we would've been sitting pretty at near 40 points.

Once again I wanna point out how crucial of a choke we got from Jayden. If he hadn't fumbled the win to us, I'd be so sad right now.

  13. If Caleb had the game Jayden had he would be getting his ass drug through the mud all goddamn week. Fuck that
Caleb outplayed Jayden. Rush TD pass TD could have been more. He had no picks no fumbles.
