This ought to be their billy goat curse. “The Brewers aint gonna win no more”

  1. I guess all the Brewers have Milwaukee Bucks season tickets and don’t want to miss the opening of the NBA season next week..

  2. Cubs had won two World Series before the billy goat curse. Definitely doesn’t apply to Milwaukee

  3. Had a Brewers fan try to tell me “ rent free” and we still in the postseason nonsense on Facebook. I calmly told him this is all on your team. For some odd reason they had to procure an L flag and take a team picture of it. Like you basically inserted yourselves into a childish gotcha and are now surprised people are laughing at you all

  4. That’s what happens when small market teams consider that their world series. When the lights get brighter, they can’t handle it

  5. Them holding up the L flag is objectively hilarious. If they get swept it will be even funnier.

  6. I laughed when they did it. But thought grabbing a W flag and waving it upside down would have been a way better troll. Make it a “M” while mocking the flag.

Instead, the baseball gods frown upon focusing on the other team instead of yours.

  7. At least if they had trolled with a proper L flag, that would be one thing. But they couldn’t even do that right. LOL

  8. You know how NHL teams don’t touch the conference championship trophy?

Brewers couldn’t even wait THAT long. I’m surprised they didn’t have a parade down Wisconsin Avenue on Sunday.

  9. For some reason, I like knowing the team more than likely got this flag after game 2 of the DS, so they could take this picture at Wrigley following a sweep. Not only did the cubs battle back to force a game 5, forcing this picture to take place at Wrigley North, but they will now be clowned until the end of time if they get swept tonight

  10. I hope this turns into a trend. I want us Cubs fans to buy that flag and fly it at Wrigley after Brewers losses. Never let them forget.

  11. I say we fix it to them. Let them suck on the goat for 120 years. Maybe they can draw all that evil that’s happened to us since the cubs broke the curse.

  12. The Brewers’ curse didn’t start this year. They’ve had some very good, regular-season teams for the past coupla years. Teams that, on paper, should/could have won the WS, but for whatever reason, it never translated to the playoffs. Even when they lost Hader and Burnes, and then later Counsell, everyone said that the Brewers sold off the team and would be terrible the following year. They would come back and just maintain being good, but when the playoffs came around, they severely underperformed.

This may be the worst curse you could have on your team. The Sisyphian curse: Always getting close, but never quite getting there; Doomed to push that rock up the hill, each season, only to taste sweet success but inevitably losing in the end

  13. It’s not even the right color scheme. It’s suppose to be an inverse of the W flag so people passing the ballpark could tell the two apart from ground level.
