Anyone here also Cubs and sometimes dodgers fan? My grandpa was a dodgers fan so I “kinda” tolerate them. I don’t hate them like the Yankees, Brewers, or Cards. But I do hate Ohtani
I live in LA, have a fond soft spot for Freddie Freeman and usually root for the Dodgers when Cubs get eliminated anyways. I find hardcore Dodger haters usually fall into the “hate them cuz we aint them” camp. Can’t hate the Dodgers for actually investing in, building, and sustaining a winning team. I just wish the Ricketts would spend A LITTLE more money on scouting and player development at least.
If anything, Im more disappointed we didnt get to face the Dodgers with a healthy Tucker and Cade Horton. Absolutely no doubt we would have beat this Brews team and actually challenge the Dodgers. The Brewers pretty much lucked out on facing a Cubs team that was a shell of its first half season self, and even then they struggled.
Theres no reason Caissie wont be on the roster next year, Nico did great this year, and Seiya picked up some of the slack from Tucker. Honestly feeling pretty good about 26.

It’s a means to an end to root for the Dodgers in this series given the disrespect the Brewers have shown us recently. I want to see the brew crew get embarrassed, which I think is fair after how they handled their win in the division series. If you’re a genuine Cubs fan, this is a no brainer. After the Dodgers win, fuck ’em, go Mariners/Jays.
