Between this and the players largely being pretty ok with Callahan’s firing, I just don’t think there’s any way you can act like Callahan should still be in the job. He lost the fans, he lost the players, and he lost the front office. Good riddance.

His sister is allowed to have her own opinions, I’m sure she wants to see her brother in the best possible situation and Callahan wasn’t it. That being said, Callahan tried his best to be a successful coach for us and didn’t have any ill intent. He was simply a guy who was in over his head. That doesn’t make him evil or worth hating. He took a shot at his dream and it failed. I wish it could have worked out but he seems like a great guy who just isn’t cut out to be a head coach. He’s gone now and we can all just move on and look forward to what will hopefully be a better team.
