I used to punish my cats when they were really bad by making them wear Christmas themed t-shirts. Maybe if you dangle these dogshit jerseys as a threat if they suck, they’ll never lose again. Maybe they’ll just keep doing bad stuff and try to walk backwards out of the jerseys because they don’t understand how shit works. I don’t know. In any event, these jerseys were the worst. I’d rather see them bring back the Turdburger.
Nostalgia probably plays a part in it for me too, but I’ve always had a soft spot for the white slugs in particular.

The buffaslug has aged better than I expected, but even with that said there is just no reason to bring it back with how beautiful the current rotation of jerseys is.

I feel old. The black red goat head was very well hated on debut and after time went on became beloved. But the fan reaction to buffaslug was unanimous.
I don’t like the jerseys but man I think the logo is fun and incredibly nostalgic for me. I hope they make a return too

I always tell people my Sabres hot take is the slug is going to come back. It takes about 20 years for old stuff/fashion trends to become cool again and the slug jersey is pushing 20 years old.
