I can’t even ground myself enough to try and make one last joke about the Brewers’ team L picture, or one more complaint about the Dodgers payroll
That was awe-inspiring. Shohei Ohtani is the greatest player to ever pick up a bat. It’s genuinely an honor that we get to watch him play ball
I’m convinced Shohei was made in a lab after his performance tonight and no can convince me otherwise.
I know everyone is saying it but I’m still in shock. We just witnessed the greatest individual baseball performance of all time.
Shohei Ohtani goes 6IP, 0R, 10 K’s….and at the plate 3 for 3 with 3 HR… one of which went OUT of Dodger Stadium.
All in a clinching game to go to the World Series.
I’m in disbelief. It’s surreal to know we’re getting to watch the best player in the history of the game right now.
FLY THAT L BREWERS
I said this in other threads but I’ll put it here too because it bears repeating
Ohtani’s 3 home runs tonight went for 1,342 feet
The Brewers had 22 plate appearances against him, and totaled 1,562 feet of contact
If he hadn’t walked in the ~~first~~ second inning, we very well may have seen a pitcher hit the ball farther in 4 at bats than he allowed the ball to travel against 22 batters (19 ABs + 3 walks)
Literally the greatest postseason performance in baseball history. No debate whatsoever.
And the 2nd is not even close.
The greatest to ever do it. The greatest to ever to play this beautiful sport called baseball. Once in a century player. And I am forever grateful that I am able to watch him in my lifetime.
Swept? Y’all don’t get cancun. We’re sending you to Galveston.
Guys the Brewers did it again
Uecker was just messing with us all along. This is more his style.
Great series Dodgers! Congratulations! I hate you.
No baseball tomorrow 🙁
First, it’s obviously the best thing we’ll ever see, and I should have woken up my two year old.
Second, the true sign of greatness is that they took the fucking pennant in a sweep and they’re treating it like a nice win on Sunday Night Baseball in May. Handshakes, light hugs, more work to be done.
This is dominance.
More home runs (3) than hits allowed (2). 10 K’s. Shohim.
this was a belt to ass NLCS
Ohtani is the first being from whatever unknown planet/universe he’s from to hit 3 homeruns and strike out 10 batters in a playoff game
The more you know 💫
Goliath beats David
The Dodgers finally catch a break
Genuinely one of the most lopsided CS in recent memory. LA just put an absolute vice grip on Milwaukee and never let go. Whoever wins the AL has their work cut out for them
LA is obviously a great team, but getting swept? Sad to see the Brewers exit with their tail between their legs.
the only people happier than Dodgers fans are Cubs fans
##We just saw the greatest ~~postseason~~ performance by a single baseball player in the history of the sport
Most pathetic NLCS performance I have ever seen. Series could have been a Email.
The Angels really had Trout and Ohtani and accomplished nothing

Oh, the tears of unfathomable sadness! Mmmm, yummy!
The haters said the Brewers couldn’t beat the Dodgers. And they were correct. Honestly great call from the haters
Does sasaki know he just closed down the NLCS? He just nodded
Yeah, don’t like the dodgers winning, but my god Shohei Ohtani is the goat.
Hate-watched the Dodgers but ended up love-watching Shohei
Anyone else ever notice that if you arrange the letters in “I, Thanos” you get “S Ohtani”?
That was pretty funny by Dave Roberts ngl
Who doesn’t love an underdog story? A wildcard team beating the #1 team from the regular season, a team that swept them 6-0.
