This one for the act. Why you hit me up? Hey Rashad, what’s up Rashad? Thank you Rashad. I love you, brother. What’s up? Shout out Hunter Green. Uh Ron Washington being out after his uh his health issues was crazy and pretty disrespectful to me. I think that was classless. I might I might pull that up after this. Anyways, immigrants over American citizens. Uh I’m doing I’m pulling up this Ron Washington story. solely to criticize the Los Angeles Angels. This is a 70s something year old man who had to sit out the rest of the season because he had health issues and you guys decided to fire him. What the heck? Class act. Class act. Class act from the Los Angeles Angels. Ron Washington won’t return as the Angels manager next year. It’s written by Alden Gonzalez. Ron Washington, who missed more than half of the 2025 season after ongoing quadruple bypass heart surgery, will not be returning as a manager of the Los Angeles Angels in 2026. The team announced on Tuesday. Interim manager Ray Montgomery also will not get the full-time man manager uh managerial role in 2026, the source confirmed to ESPN as the Angels search for their sixth manager in nine years. Washington told the Athletic that general manager Perry uh Mina Minien told him that the team’s decision to not pick up his contract option was based on the team’s performance. The Angels ran 36 and 38 prior to him leaving rather than the manager’s health. Quote unquote, you know you’re a competitor and you know you’re in charge and none of that stuff comes into play. Washington told Athletic, “Sometimes you got to uh make chicken salad out of chickenish. I have to accept that.” Quunquote. I have to go back. I have to I can’t go back and argue with them and try to uh tell them that different when they made a decision. Dot dot dot. We were starting to perform better. Oh, that’s sad. Washington, who turned 74 in April and was the oldest manager in the majors this past season, told the athletic uh that he has never had the opportunity to talk about the team’s decision uh with the Angels owner, RT Moreno. He also said he’d like to continue managing or join the team’s coaching staff. The Angels finished with a 72 and 90 record, accounting for their 10th consecutive losing season. They’ve made the playoffs just once since 2009. Dang with Mike Trout. Is Mike Trout Mike Trout still on the Angels? He’s still got to be right. Mike Trout. Yeah, he’s still on the Angels. There it is. He’s still on the Angels, bro. Duck only made the playoffs like once. That’s crazy, dude. How old is Mike Trout now? 34. Dang. Dang. Let me go back. Uh Washington, a former Texas Rangers manager and highly regarded infield instructor was brought ahead of the 2024 season in hopes he can mentor a young nucleus headlined by Zagito, uh Logan Oh, Hope, Nolan Schnull, and Joe Adal Adal. However, the team finished with the R franchise record 99 losses. The 2025 team showed promise but wound up finishing last in American League West for the second straight year 25 and a half games out of first. Goodness gracious. Dang. I think I had the team going in the right direction. I really did. Washington told the athletic and I was just it was just too bad that my health came into play. There’s nothing I could do about that. It was my team. I think the team took on my personality. We were definitely showing that in this business. This kind of stuff just happens to you when everything goes not the way that people want it. You take the blame for it and I’m okay. Washington last managed the game on June 19th when he left the Angels after experiencing shortness of breath and appearing fatigue during a four-game series against the New York Yankees. He eventually under underwent quadruple bypass surgery but stressed last month that he was in good health and wanted to return as the Angels manager in 2026. What happened to me saved my life, Washington said earlier this season, added that he had quit smoking, changed his eating habits, and started sleeping better. Overall, Washington is 99 and 137 and two seasons with Los Angeles. Montgomery’s option to not be picked up. The rest of the Angels coaching staff had 2026 options, but their statuses is not yet known. Men’s uh Menaceian who finished his fifth season as the Angels general manager is under contract through 2026 though the team has not made a formal announcement about his status. Albert Pos and Tory Hunter two decorated former Angels who currently serve as uh calling Albert Puhos a decorated Angel is a decision. It’s a choice of words. He is a decorated St. Louis Cardinal who played for the Angels. Tory Hunter. He you could even argue he is a decorated uh Minnesota Twin who just happened to play for the Angels. Two decorated former Angels who currently serve as special assistants to the team are considered the strong candidates who could become the next manager unless Moreno seeks someone with more experience. Washington was the winningest manager in Rangers history, compiling a record of 664 and 661, I mean 611 record in 2007 to 2014. He led them to their first two World Series appearances in 2010 and 2011. After initially returning to the athletics organization from 2015 to 2016 campaigns, Washington joined the Atlanta Braves staff from 2017 to 2023. Was a part of their 2021 World Series championship team. The Associated Press contributed to this report. Yeah. Uh that’s crazy. That’s crazy. I fired that man, you know, who about to turn 74 dealing with health issues and stuff like that and said it ain’t about the health, it’s about the so I thought that was crazy. Okay. Moving on. Stream reactions for the rest of the stream. We gonna be doing that. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Type type type as soon as Why you hit me up? Hey Rashad, what’s up? Thank you. I love you, bro.
