Rich Eisen Weighs In on Tua Tagovailoa’s “Shocking” Revelation of Dolphins’ Locker Room Dysfunction

The Miami Dolphins fall to one and five and after the game two will let a lot of dirty laundry air and sit out there on the uh court for everyone to see hung up. I think it starts with the leadership and in helping articulate that for the guys. We have guys showing up to player only meetings late, guys not showing up to player only meeting. Like there there’s a lot that goes into that. It’s tough to hear that from anybody. Listen, I’m not in that locker room. Um, and Tua is non-stop always the guy who raises his hand and says, you know, I’m at fault. It’s part of it is my bad. I don’t know how that’s going to play in a locker room after he had three interceptions. I’m assuming that should play well enough with those who feel the same way as he does and those who he knows he’s calling out. I imagine that will not play very well at all. I do hope it does get cleaned up for the Miami Dolphins because this is exactly the way a coach gets got. It’s a difference between winning and losing, right? One way everybody’s sick and tired of and thinks that is indicative of of your lack of uh ability. And the other way it’s, you know, when you win, it’s like, oh, you’re you’re awesome. And as a matter of fact, you’re a leader because you you’re so brash. Mike McDaniel’s way of speaking uh when it’s winning is quirky and when it’s not it comes across as somebody who doesn’t have a grip on his current situation and when the quarterback who he once upon a time threw his arm around and said I’ve got you comes out and says what he just said about leadership and the problem is in the locker room when players don’t show up for players onlyly meetings. It sure puts Mike McDaniel on the spot. And I don’t know if this thing can get cleaned up internally quickly enough to save Mike McDaniel’s job because they’re one and five. And I just don’t know what is going on down there. All you hear about is Steven Ross is being patient. But there were a lot of empty seats in Hard Rock on Sunday from all the people that I know that went to the game. There’s this game in Cleveland. Uh, I I profer to say the spot where Mike McDaniel once coached. I I’m hoping for his sake they come up with a win cuz if they lose to Dylan Gabriel with Tuatongo Vioa, a guy who has got a $55 million contract and is built a little bit taller than Dylan Gabriel and this third round pick comes up with his first career win against the Miami Dolphins. I I I don’t know what’s going to happen

  1. Too many folks had him as a good leader and as a guy that has it all buttoned up. I’ve never seen that. He was rude to a reporter that got his heritage incorrect. He didn’t handle the Flores situation well. He hasn’t handled the tyreek situation with leadership. Now he’s doing this. I’m sorry but people get fooled too easily by a a guy who smiles and gives it up to god. There’s more to it than that.

  2. I don’t put all this on Mike. It’s not an easy situation. Clown qb, punk/old wr, and an organization that spent their money on positions mirroring the bengals/cowboys. You don’t build like that. I don’t put it on Flores nor do I put it on Mike

  3. I am a casual fan, as casual as it gets. So feel free to correct me where I’m wrong, is the quarterback not one of the leaders? I’d assume it’s the quarterback and coach, and everything underneath.

  4. Your coach is a dork who wears a "I wish it was colder" shirt, with a hoodie underneath while he runs to the bus. That's your leader. Your QB sucks and the rest of your roster does too.

  5. If he was actually good then his status would allow him to speak of this but still you never burn Bridges or talk s*** about your teammates or coaches. If you're a player and you're thinking this stuff trust me everyone else already knows. Makes no sense to put your name out there as a snitch

  6. From here on out no teammate is ever going to trust this guy again. You don’t say this to the media especially when you’re the quarterback. This is stuff that should be kept behind closed doors.

  7. Having a guy that gets concussed a ton still be your guy despite his own lack of accountability to meetings and leadership, and oh yeah is terrible now. This guy should point less fingers, and Mike McDaniel should go back to being an OC and grow up a few years. Tyrek is done and so are the dolphins hopes.

  8. It’s Tua and Achane vs the rest Shittest O line and Defence how the fk are you gonna win games when they give you the shittest team to defend the point you put up knts blame Tua but when he’s not there Miami is even shitter 😂 like 10000 X shitter
