Will Spencer Rattler prove to have franchise QB potential for the Saints? #saints
On the good side of last week, I think Rattler probably played his most promising game to date. Did a lot of good things. Some stuff that that looked like it was maybe a step forward. Just gonna give you the floor here. What’s your What’s your updated postweek six Spencer Rattler? What’s What’s the hot take on it? Yeah, I I don’t know if I have a hot take, but I I’ll definitely say this. I I think Spencer Rler has proven that he could be a starting quarterback in the NFL or at least is well on his way to doing that. And I guess it depends on your definition of what a starting quarterback in the NFL is. I think that he has firmly proved that he can be a quarterback that you can win with. I think the next thing he’s got to prove is that he’s a quarterback that you can win because of. And I think after that, then you start to get into that franchise quarterback conversation. So, we kind of have to constantly move the goalpost a little bit on him every step that he takes, but in a good way, right? It’s like it’s like hitting checkpoints, you know, in in in Crash Bandicoot or something like that. You know what I mean? You got to you got to hit certain points benchmarks where you can get to that next thing. And I think he’s doing a good job kind of moving through that. And I think too like you look at the first four weeks of the season, his yards per attempt were 30th in the NFL combined weeks one through four. But over the course of the past two weeks, he’s 10th in the NFL in that metric.

Rat dog doing his shxt for sure⚜️⚜️
Stop it with that Rattler can become a frachise QB!!!!
He needs to lead the team to TDs and not field goals!!!! He didn't lead the team to a TD against the Patroits!!!!
If he "Proves" to be a Franchise QB, what does that say for Kellen Moore's ability to draft?…Here we have a 2nd round pick in Shough, sitting on the bench for a 1-5 team…couldn't that pick have been another starter?
Say Ross I remember Crash Bandicoot. Them checkpoints was clutch.
The arm talent is obvious, but I just don’t see any intangibles. There doesn’t seem to be any real leadership from him. He’s got a flat affect and doesn’t really inspire me by playing with a little more emotion.
Rattler been balling
Rattler is that guy. 🐍 ⚜️
Bench Rattler now no more excuses
Rattler’s steady improvement from week to week is awesome. What makes me give pause is that if he keeps doing this, we will have no way to see what Tyler Shough is capable of. Ideally, if Rattler IS the guy, you still need to see if there’s any value with Shough. I’m still also thinking that we should be playing for as high of a draft pick as possible.
But Rattler is playing awesome.
World class Crash Bandicoot reference!
Sir we shouldn't have various definitions.. there needs to be a measuring stick that says this is a starter this is not a starter
Rattler has no good receivers he can throw to
Guys he's been good between 20s and made himself some money but a quality starting NFL QB? I think not.
