Frank IMO is the GOAT 49ers running back. I have tons of respect for Roger Craig as a runner, and his ability to be a reliable receiver for Joe. That said, I believe Frank was a ground and pound legend that took full advantage of having a young and prime Joe Staley and Iupati blocking for him. Frank would’ve done great things even back in the 80s with the way he was able to move.
I agree with what he says in the video but none of us are blind either. Even Bill Walsh with Kyle as OC and either Ray Rhodes (RIP) or Pete Carrol as defensive coordinators, wouldn’t have done much when ALL their best players went out with serious injuries.
What an awesome quote from an all time great. Hopefully this makes the Kyle haters think twice before they talk shit.
It’s worth repeating that Shanny is an amazing HC and we, as fans, are extremely fortunate to have him at the helm of our team.

All the boys are gonna get healthy and then Shanny is gonna get hit by the muni.
I mean so far the main takeaway of the season is that Kyle and Saleh are must haves on the field, just incredible coaches and play callers.
The other main takeaway is that we’re too inured to win without miracles – and miracles can happen, but they don’t happen 20 games in a row.
