NHL Highlights | Flames vs. Golden Knights – October 18, 2025
They’re desperate to get some goals and Hubo is going to help. A little fresh body in their schedule has been so tough to start the season. Hubo starts up front along with Cad and Faraby up ice. Vegas get out. Floater that Dustin Wolf will flip the stick over and settle down. Ball reverses. Weager pressured though. Gives it up. Centering pass and they score. Mixer first as a make golden night [Music] continue to feel more comfortable each and every game. Long shot test and he didn’t handle that one very cleanly. Vegas up ice pressuring was Connor’s area Wolf and we’ve got a tilt here and this goes back to Sizz’s hit on Perk. It’s Lombberg and Sizz. Lombberg some early rights wasting no time. Sizz trying to hang on. Lombberg second scrap of the season. Rights and he’ll take him down. Lombberg is such a strong guy. He has such great upper body strength and what happened after. And here’s tonight. And you can see I knew it wouldn’t take long. Here’s Lombberg goes right after him and Siss knows. He knows it’s coming. Drops the gloves right away. And Lombberg’s throwing the right. Sison’s hanging on. No stranger to this either. Cadri back to the line. Weaguer again. Cadri little behind the back play. Hubo scores in the lineup for the first game this season. And Hubo ties it at one. Well, he just missed that chance earlier when Cadri threw that hard pass across Aiden Hill and comes right back to Hubo. Hubo to Cadry. Nice play now. Strong in front of the net. And that’s Hubo. He comes back. Gets strong in front of the net and he gets that rebound. Get position right there to bang it in off the skate of Aiden Hill. Right back. Barby works it down low. Back up top. Correct. Shoots. blocker stopped there by Hill and Sid door attempt by Bar was swung on a miss. Perk keeps it alive for Calgary. Five forwards on this Vegas power play. Michael setting up thrown to the slot and Hurle scores. Quick work on the power play. Megas back in front by one. That’s it. You get the white board out and Thomas Hurdle is all by himself. You can see the position, the box, and there’s Hurdle right in the middle. He’s out high enough that the defenseman don’t get to him. But look at these pass. Boom, boom, boom. And there’s Hurdle in the middle. And he’s going to get it on the second pass. As you see, Mark Stone just feeds him from across. Over skated it saw it and long rain short. Wolf will cover up. They’re not going to make it. And all of a sudden, everybody else has three wins and you got one. Good pressed schedule in Olympic here only adds to that. L’s trying to answer back. Second time in this first period. Clap. Zary curling back. Wake club just now getting the bench. He was really shaken up as Clapka, the man that hit him, continues on. centering pass in the vicinity was Zeri Vegas broken up Max with Anderson and now we got a tilt second one tonight Clapka this time and he’ll battle with Lozan well after that hit play twice in the same week there’s some bad blood is so big look at that reach he can tie you up in a hurry keep you out there and that’s what Kla is doing is he’s holding blows on out there. Some big rights from Kla. Are they getting tired? Yes, they will give way to the linesman. Breath as he heads up and Calgary both were fighting. And there they go at it. And Lozan, give Lozo credit, goes right after the big man and trying to get in close so that he can throw them. But it’s not often 63 looks small. Yeah, that’s right. The Flames line up. Ubero slicing inside door. Fairy raw by Hill. What a stop. Go Farby has been all around it for the Flames this season and had this great look, but it stays a Vegas lead. [Applause] Vegas. Michael to the side. No doubter. Art Stone with his first of the season on a tap in. 3-1 Vegas. And the Calgary Flames have not played very good defense in this one. He you can see the confusion on this one. Everybody trapped on the one side. Sharon Govich comes across. Everybody watching the puck and look at Sharon Go. He lets Mark Stone go right by now. Do you think that’s interference? And the puck’s already in the net. Swings low out of the reach of Hubo, but he’ll still pick it up behind Hill. Hill was looking the other way. Or couldn’t shoot right away. Cadrick in the slot side door nearly a mirror image for Hoover and this time it stays out. Keep this possession going. Correct. Drops off. Sharon Govich has some room. Shoots off the elbow and out. What a shot by Sharon Goic but couldn’t find the twine. This is game number six. Not yet done. Flames they found a goal in this building. Didn’t score one. all of last season in Vegas. So they have something to build on as period 2 starts to the side nearly found stone wide open again. Kevin Biden talked about the deception of EL and it seems to be on a display. Shift by shift this one tipped in. Barbership scores. 4-1 Vegas. It hit him. This one doesn’t. Barbashev tips this one out of the air. And you see strong in front of your own net. Look at Barbashev. He gets position and therefore he’s able to get his stick on this one. Shot goes back and Barbashev, look at the position he gets. and he’s facing the shot. Picks it out of the air. You say, “Lucky.” Well, trying to thrust his team back into this second period. Short-handed dangerous rush. Here comes Eiko alone on Wol. Shoots. Stopped by Wol. There’s Jack Eel. The breakaway and Dustin Wolf stays right with him. Ekeel tried to go across. Slided through five hole. Didn’t go. Bren, you like five forwards on a power play? Yeah, I do. Martner to the inside. Geeks, scores. What a goal from Mitch Martner. He’s arrived in Vegas. Well, Dustin Wolf thinks he’s going to shoot this one. So you rest and with the compact schedule the Flames play every other night. Don’t get that extra night off in the third period. That means the Knights are on the NBA. Stone in front. stopped. Stone scores on the rebound. Fourth point of the night. Second goal of the game for Stone. Well, and three for three on the power play. the execution. You cannot just stand around and watch the Vegas Golden Knights throw the puck around. You watch this power play. Okay, back to the point. Middle sideboards. Deep middle. Does that not look? Verle scored on the first one. This time makes the save and it’s the rebound. Same play. Same play. And hurdle this time didn’t get the goal, but he he’ll get an assist because it’s his rebound. He can just get one to go for him. Pinched in. Now it’s a two on. Hurdle shoots. Stopped by And the rebound trickles wide. Deon coming up big. His good offensive skills here. He pinches in. No chance. And it’s a twoon going the other way. Thomas Hurdle takes the wrist shot. And Vegas continue their roll. Points in six straight and three straight wins. 6-1 over Calgary tonight. [Music]
Mark Stone and Jack Eichel dominated with four points each, Mitch Marner scored twice, and Adin Hill made 26 saves as the Vegas Golden Knights defeated the Calgary Flames 6-1.

Flames after 1 win we progress And now 5 lost in a row
Flames knew the assignment tonight
I bet Oilers are scratching their heads wondering how they lost to these Flames. And as any team might do going forward, because Calgary are just so, so bad right now.
Vagas tried to score 7, better luck next time losers, go flames.🔥
The Flames aren't mathematically out of the playoffs but they need to establish something for next season.
Poor little Dustbin.😂😂😂😂😂
We scored a goal in Vegas finally 🎉 Lomberg and Klapka with great fights as well.
wtf was sharangovich doing on Vegas's third goal
Cheech❤Canucks missed you!
Sportsnet still feeling some type of way about the whole Marner situation? Replays of everything except the two Marner goals. 😂
It’s sad to lose by this much but hopefully at the end we get a first round draft pick: number one would be the best but I think just something near the top would be good.
Marner's really really good at hockey.
Vegas is scary good
That Marner goal though! 🔥🔥🔥
No replays for you, Mitch! There’s no way the maple leafs network is beefing with marner eh
Vegas starting to find their rhythm after a sluggish start to the season. Nice to see Marner pop his first 2 goals of the season. GKG
Well the Flames are only 4 points out of a wild card spot, so that doesn't seem so bad, but if you only win 1 out of every 6 games it might be hard to close that gap. I feel sorry for their young goalie – he's probably going to need a mental health break by the end of October. I remember not so long ago when all the Calgary fans were saying the Conroy fleeced the Canucks when he dealt Lindholm and Zadorov and picked up Kuzmenko. How's that fleecing working for you so far? And how many goals has Kuzmenko scored for you this year…….. oh, ya.
Hell of a game. Offense is scary good. Our power play is automatic . Marner with 2 goals. His second was a beauty. Sportsnet leaves out his replays cause they’re salty lol. Gotta love it.
lomberg and sissons fight for no reason – kick them both out of the game.
No replays on Marner goals? Lol
Poor Wolf… Shesh man.
I was at the game; why would Calgary fans even travel? Flames are worse than the Raiders in the NFL!
New Vegas fans 2025 like here! Thanks Mitchy you gave our lives new meaning. Let’s get you a ring!! GO VGK from Niagara Falls Ontario! gotta love eichel too the local buffalo boy!!
I think they should nickname Wolf "Laundry" since their defense hangs him out to dry so much.
