NHL Highlights | Wild vs. Flyers – October 18, 2025
You talk about a guy that uh gets you out of your seat. He’s one of those players. Injuries were a problem for him last year. Seems healthy this year. Points are there to follow as well. Another terasenko hooked up at the offseason was asked that fires get it centered in front and Rob was connecting. Another shot able to stop Mechov’s Delore and Toledo as you talked about two of the better tough guys in the NHL. Leo got the right hand free. I’m not sure if he actually connected with him. Now trying to spin around. Comes up a little right. They got each other at arms length at this point. Oh, that’s right to the side of the head. They swing each other around again. Oh, that right from Delore got in there. Both helmet somehow still on. Oh, a right cross from Delore. And then they wrap up. That’s two big guys. Leo 63 2261 219 a jolt. So both guys decide to go at it early on in a pretty spirited bout between two tough customers. Holdy run off the puck in center ice by Bobby Brink. Brink moves up with it. Waits goes cross ice through dry. The shot by Dorak is kicked out of there by Walston. Brink comes off the bench and just kind of boldly just runs out of real estate. Brink just does a good job of closing in on him and then from there gets going the other way and a good save by Walstead William talented and much youngster across the line come the wild here’s Johansson Johansson turns fires and it’s batted away although that one just ends up getting back behind and that Middleton will set it up but not out there is York for out high for makes the dick the pass the shot set up save made moves it to Meichoff. Mitchoff centered, comes all the way back out. York looks shimmy and then gives to Cer. Cer cuts to the slot, lost it, bounces off Mishkov. Save made by Wallstead. Bounces the other way. Broaddin jumps on it around behind the net. Flips to Capri off. He takes a shot and the save made by Blar. Only the second shot of the game for the Wild will get it back out. Uric hold. Lines, fires into heavy traffic. Save. Lar puts the glove on top of it and hangs on. And then we get some pushing and shoving. Ziggress twisting it down low for Tippet. Tippet out toward the high slot. Goes cross ice. Disdale. Disdale in front. The save made. Walstead out behind. Mechov. Waiting, waiting, waiting. And he’ll flip it down low. Couturier. Back to Mechoff. He’ll take the shot. Save made. Rebound was poked free by Coutur, but the Flyers couldn’t get to it. Favor again. Obviously, the offensive officials would have been exasperated as well. Flyers again don’t allow a goal in the first period. They’ve allowed one goal all season long in the first period. Best team in the NHL in that area. They battle for behind the net. Couturier will play it to the left wing to connect the over. Favor to tie him up and the Wild end up with the puck. The pass back kept in. A shot by Terasenko blocked in front but bounces free to Rossy inside the shot and they score. That looked like Vladimir Terasenko from about five years ago. He rips it. and he beats Lar does a good job here initially keeps the the puck in after Couturi gets a piece of it. Terasenko is able to keep it alive, get it to the net. Rosi’s able to win the puck and from there Terasenko jumps into the hole after the defenseman he was covering for gets back into play. He kind of now he can activate offensively. The Flyers can’t sort it out and Terasenko gets this one on a tee and rips it over the glove of Ladar to give the Wild a one- nothing lead. Scoring he scored 30 goals six times in his career. Offside challenge by Philadelphia. We have a challenge. So all those great numbers for Terrace. He might not be adding to them after all as it is. I would say he does not have control of the puck there. He had it as it was on the line but then lost it on the drive hits it to me that would s signal that he does not have control of the puck. You determined the play was on side. We have a good goal. Well, so the goal does count and the will be assess the benchm penalty for failed challenge. Get that power play clock you see is working perfectly. Not the one in the building here. The wild centering deflects in on made one and then a second say. Oh, Coutur a chance to clear and gets it back out to Broaddin and then across will drop it further for Faber. Faber looking firing save. May Lard through some traffic and the Flyers will have their second consecutive kill on their hands. Did a good job on the first Minnesota power play. Wild do win the draw in seven seconds. The Flyers will be back to full strength, but lots of ice to work with for the Wild as they move in here as throws into the slot. Rossy up in the shot by Harman. Denied by Vodar. Buyers are back to full strike. Spurgeon keeps the puck in. Cut off behind the net by Julesen, but this pass is knocked down. Rossy gets it to Hardman. Takes the quick shot. That one goes through traffic and wide. Spurgeon to it. Wild time setting up camp in the offensive zone. And Terasenko doing the work down low. Spurgeon. The shot fended off by Var again. had traffic to deal with. Move it this way. York runs into all kinds of traffic and it’s big time trouble. Here’s Trenion trying to center. Blocked up by center. Second try and it’s stopped by at the side of the net. You’re right. Flyers really need be able to gather themselves here. Tren tips this puck for off of the left wing. Williams checked by Sanheim. Still has the puck. Wheels to the circle with it. Williams arked by D’vorak but got that puck to Yurov who centers able to break that up. Zager’s hands off to Tippet. Tippet sets fly the other way. Ridden from behind, works free of that. Drags it to the middle. Backhander went just wide. Oh, almost another highlight. Real goal. Congratulations to all three families. Everybody doing well. Here’s a quick shot by Tipp. The save made didn’t know where that rebound had gone, but the Wild find it. Drops it back off. Ziggress to the point. Sealer winds, fires, and the save made by Walstead. D’vorak upset he could not get his stick on that for a deflection. Not possession, but it makes sense. We, you know, the Flyers knock it in the zone and that’s why Johansson is no longer in an offside position. Flyers win the draw here. Try to even this thing up. Sealer shot. Johansson will clear. This line has had the best of the offensive opportunities for the Flyers. Now they look for another one. Tip with a shot and a save by Wall out of the KHL. Good job by Mechoff on the wall. Free that puck up for Couturier. Zamula across to Jules now to connect. That shot seen all the way. Send out Tippet. Couturier. Mechov. Connectny drives there on the power play. Play. I thought Tippet as well had a chance to take it to the net earlier and didn’t. Second unit out now. Brink rightwing feed. Kates. Kates into the slots. A shot and that one off of wall. Then the glass and caught safety net. See divinity of center very creative player will flip it back and then the shot glove by Lar is Bu again the early season leader for the Flyers. Not a surprise there. Here’s a shot by Middleton. Seen all the way by Var. He’ll snare that one and hang on. Ura into the middle turning with it. Fino fans on it. Couturier takes it. Middleton trying to get back. Couture has a step. He cuts in. Save made by Walston. Checked from behind by Zegris. Check back to retrieve. His pass tipped by D’vorak. He gathers. Drops it off. Ziggers quickly across Tippet. The shot. Save. Lost. Rebound. Tippet. Floss it three. Trying to bake it in. He scores. Oh, and Tippet stayed with it and the game is tied at one. Got some jump. The initial shot wide. is able to get to the loose puck before Walstead could freeze it and then alertly just kind of banks or throws it towards the net and banks it off of Walstead but give credit to Tippet because he got in on Walstead quickly which didn’t allow Walstead to freeze the puck around behind the Philadelphia net there he sends Tippet to center Tippet the right wing feed it’s outside they say connecting back to Tippet oh the save made by Wallers going off to change here as the clock ticks underneath 5 seconds and Favor’s just going to hang right on to it. And for the first time this season at home, the Flyers will go to overtime here. Flyers, as we said, lost that game in Carolina for the Wild. This is kind of stating the obvious. You have to keep your eye on Carro Capri off. He has 10 overtime game-winning goals. Kaknney Couturier and Sanheim. The first three out for the Flyers. Eric favor favor makes a nice move on connect. Cuts on up. Centers in. Eric could not finish it. Lar flashed across and the puck didn’t go. And now Risdale emerges to center with the pass to Forester. Forester right up the gut off to Kates. Kates waits, holds, fires, and scores. Noah Kates is the hero. [Music] his first career overtime gamewinning goal and it counts. 2-1 your final. But give Lar all the credit in the world to keep the play alive and allow the Flyers to go the other way. And Kates puts it home to grab two points. [Music]
Owen Tippett scored the game-tying goal midway through the third period, and Noah Cates buried the OT-winner as the Philadelphia Flyers rallied to defeat the Minnesota Wild 2-1.

А где капризов то самый дорогой,деньги на ветер
Maybe it is time to make Valdar starter goalie, Ersson is not even NHL level, but they keep putting him in the net, instead of putting him to AHL
Blatantly obvious whoever is editing these videos doesn't know puck
How’s that absurd contract Minnesota?
Flyers looked cooked for about 30 min of this game but Darth Vladar is keeping them in games
How about that Philly crowd
Valdar is a star.
All that matters is that Kaprisov got his money. Who cares if the team is bad
I remember being lambasted for saying minnesota should have sold off most of the vets when they had career years in 2021-2022. What has happened since? A lot of them got paid and have become old and done nothing 😂
Daulorie can not fight, he is too wooden for that. The thing that he is skating is already a miracle
I didnt see Boldy out there. Was he out?
They better make Vladar the starter he looks so much better than Ersson.
Foligno still concussed from Deslauriers elbow
Mediocre Minnesota, what a surprise. And no it’s not because of the Kaprizov contract, they just love mediocre. That’s all they’ve ever been and there’s no end in sight. Even if they make the playoffs they’re out in the first round, out the second if they’re lucky. No reason to have hope for this team to be anything other than an also ran
97-17million 👎🏁🔥👋
PLEASE don't let Vladar fall to the curse of past Philly goalies.
Great Win for The Flyers 👍
ALL VLADAR!!!!
Thanks Vladar
Good job to Noah Cates for the OT goal!
Пока Миннесота выглядит аутсайдером в своих играх! 🥺
Minnesota Wild =💩
Wally in the net he had a good game despite the loss, come on Wild boys you should have won that game 😏🏒
It is so nice to have a NHL level goalie again… it has been a while.
Philly needs a big Czech goalie. Because only they can save the team. In the past it was Čechmánek, now it’s Vladař.
