NHL Highlights | Bruins vs. Avalanche | October 18, 2025
What’s amazing is I was taken by smelling salt the
exact same time Barnacov was. The nerves got to be insane. You see his lips flapping. He’s got to
breathe deep and enjoy the moment. Up to Charlie with a long shot and it’s deflected wide to the
net. Beer with a piece of it. Not a ton. Bruins keep it in. Back to Makavoy. Walks in. Sends it
in front. Still beacher able to put it past Wwood on a great back door play by Charlie Makavoy.
That’s what he can do. And the Boston Bruins have an early one- nothing lead. Three National
Hockey League goal. Well, this all starts. The abs get running around a little bit and it’s a
beautiful play here. Mason Lauri feeds it through the triangle of Bartikov over to Makavoy and it’s
a shot pass back door. Johnny Beecher. I mean, that is as wide open a net as you’re going to
find and the ABS find them. Everybody forgot about Beecher just standing there by himself in
the back door. That puck to center ice sent back ahead. Puck rolled to Wedgewood. He’ll smother
that one and we have a stoppage in play. The second assist on that goal. Rock Nelson can’t win
that draw. Zorov jams it down the door. Of course, remember his five years in a Colorado Avalanche
sweater. Led the National Hockey League in hits last year, believe it or not. And penalty minutes
fired ahead. Oh, so the action kind of in a little bit now on their heels. They had a crazy one two
nights ago in Vegas. They lost six to five. A lot of different guys on both teams got involved in
that score. Set ahead. He’ll burst it down the slot. He scores. Nathan McKinnon able to put
it past Slayman’s pan and the tied the game at one for McKinnon. Lacking whatever he can.
You nailed it. Those are turned like it makes this thing happen. He creates the turnover in the
neutral zone. Turns and fires over to McKinnon and McKinnon Swayman thinks he’s going to shoot that
little high glove little flicker that he loves to do and Nathan McKinnon says no no no. I’m going
to the back hand and that’s a nice little wide open net for Nathan McKinnon hockey player in the
state during their senior season. Now Brock said they grew up in a small town where everyone
loves the game and they’re Manson. Absolut have a 2-1 lead for Manson. Rachel’s telling
the story in the after he scored as simple as it gets. Win the draw. Look at I’m not sure
if Brock Nelson, who we were talking about, scored that goal, but he was certainly a big
part of that screen. Johnny Brock Nelson a big body going to the front and now Gabe Landiskov
another assist second game in a row he snaps that puck board and the hockey IQ up to the point
gloved by Wedgewood he’s going to hang on right there for Gabe Landiskov by the way an assist on
that he’s been in a scramble not only with Jeff Drew but now with Ross Cole the linesman doesn’t
like it he wins the draw a quick shot missed the net that was right off the face off shot there
stopped and kicked wide side of the net by the Bruins as Wedgwood couldn’t hang on to it quickly.
Manson to the Don Manson stick handling turnaround opportunity and a save by Slayman. Rebound save
by Singman got his right head over just in time and Josh Manson out on the front foot and here’s
Josh Manson weaving through three four Bruins and he bats it out of the air. Sman actually gets
a blocker on that but Josh Manson the offensive prowess tonight. You can see right there midair.
Mitten takes it deep for PostNot. Trying to keep that puck in to get some cycle going again and
a slot. Watch out. Mint shoots. What a glove save by Wedwood. Finds Marty Nius. ABS have yet to
record a shot on goal. We’re 40 seconds in. Back to McKenna. Puck bouncing. Castling. Close that
gap. Slipped off the turnaround opportunity for NS. A save by Swayman to not give up the post to
the front of the net to Swayman. Macar stops on a dime. Chased by Posternok. Posternok will peel
away. It’s too hard to stay with number eight when he does this. Lar turning looking shooting. Saved
by Swayman. He’s able to hold on the outside just trying to find a way to get the shot. There’s
Kelly in front. Probably going to get a little bump to Swayman right there. Getting into a
good goalie’s grill, Johnny. I love that. Well, two guys on the top of the crease and Kale Mar
leaves two Bruins in the dust. Swimman gets a great push off of the post here. You can see
Kale Mar head up the entire time couldn’t go to the night. 4 seconds to go in. It takes back to
McKinnon. Power play now over. Shot save and he’ll hold on to the far side of the crease. Definitely
up the boards like able to the head. Here comes McKinnon. He’s bursting on Laura McKinnon. Great
shot there by Nes and another save by Swain on the redirect. Could end up being the story line here.
Valentin is in. Sweeps it across for McKennon. He’s been out there the entire time as Nate into
the high slot. Pulls and shoots. Saved by Swan off of Pos. McKinnon’s got it. Been out there for
a little bit. Got plenty left. Here’s McKinnon dodging everybody. McKinnon fires it off for Look
at it. He got deep. McKinnon shoots. Score. Nathan McKinnon the one-time from below the dot.
Rips it past Swayman before he could even react. You nailed that. Mo ripped it is right
blocker side. Sway is actually screamed by his own player. You can see Kale Mar ends up being
a decoy. It drives Lynh home right in the eyes of Jeremy Swayman and Arturi Lackan put this on a
T for Nathan McKinnon in and out so quick I think a lot of people were confused if it even went
in but Nathan McKinnon be the only goal tonight for the Boston Bruins came early in the game
shoots and that hit a man in front shot oh my goodness what a glove save by Wedgewood a diving
glove save by Scott Wedgewood Trent Miner Trent Miner’s looking at him saying, “Man, you’re in
the zone.” But I don’t know if he actually sees this or if he just assumes it’s going glove.
You can see flashing the leather. I’m looking down in this break. Pops it ahead. Here comes
Nelson. Lisog is on side. Count bangs it up for Burns. Long wrist shot. Oh my goodness.
Deflected by Nelson and hits the crossbar. the knuckle puck post and I’m right in behind
seeing that line and it almost dipped at the last second right off the crossbar. Burns is so
brilliant at getting that puck through. I’m not sure if that was touched by Valentin numbers
fired ahead for Manson. He’s got Mar with him. Watch it looking for Kale. Loose backhanded and
a stop by Swayman. And it is right moving the puck up to Josh Manson right out of the box and
actually deflects off the Bruin defenseman and Swayman does a fantastic job. You can see Manson
trying to go five hole on Lindholm to Mar. Brock Nelson was 315 to go here in the third with a
twogoal lead. Nas down low. Shot save Swayman. McKinnon in front shot save Swayman. Nas upanded.
Lechan’s down a timeout. 306 left. ABS on top. Hammered in by Arvinson. Beer trying to chase.
Burns finds McKinnon. Net empty for the bees, but the ABS can’t get it yet. They finally
do. Nes fires it all the way and scores. Nes 175 ft goal in the 41 lead and that should
just about do it and Nathan McKinnon wins the battle. Middlestack gets it back but Arur Le
should get an assist on this. He takes away the pass. You can see Middlestat try and go in
between his legs and Lean reads it perfectly. Gets a skate blade on it. goes right to Marty
Nus and he’s now on the ends giving him a big time payoff and that will do it. The Colorado
Avalanche moved to 50 and one to begin the season.

The amount of bruins fans is unreal. Imagine coming from Boston to Colorado just to get absolutely demolished.
So this is why we saw McKinnon practicing the backhand a few days ago, lol. But either way, unmatched talent, and awesome dub!
