Saturday in Arizona was a special triple-header out at the Goodyear Ballpark, which is a pretty tired ballpark *rimshot*. That led to every game being seven innings and all six teams were visiting in this special event. And it led to Scottsdale collecting a huge win over perhaps the most prospect-laden team in the AFL, Surprise. Walker Martin picked up his first extra-base hit with a triple, though the defense wasn’t great on the day.

Giants Prospects to Spotlight:
- 3B Walker Martin (SF #27): 2-4, 2 K, 1 3B (1), 1 E (1) – Martin picked up his first extra-base hit of the fall with a hard hit triple to the right-center gap, using good speed to get that third base. But he had a bit of troubles defensively. He dropped a pop-up that hit him in the glove, and he almost threw another ball away after a good running pick of the ball, luckily, the first baseman jumped to grab it and got the out. Martin also struck out twice, and he tested out the check-swing review (and lost his appeal).

- 1B Parks Harber: 0-2, 1 R, 1 BB, 1 K – So yes, Harber was the leaping first baseman. Harber had a good day mostly defensively, though he wasn’t able to cleanly glove a hard grounder to his left in the 7th as Surprise collected some garbage runs. His only offensive contribution was a walk, giving him three walks to six strikeouts in 20 plate appearances.
