Vesia came in after and finished the inning flawlessly — that sealed Ohtani’s historic game to 0 earned runs.

  1. Ohtani might have pulled a mad max on Roberts if the bullpen blowed it. Good thing Vesia delivered.

  2. Scherzer and Ohtani’s version of “frustrated” are 2 very different things.

One is a slight grimace and respectful nod, the other — could start World War III

  3. Roberts is a moron when it comes to managing pitching. He’s pretty much an idiot otherwise.

  4. Trouble maker. Dodgers probably should get rid of him but who’s crazy enough to take on that contract?

  5. I usually criticize Dave but that was the right move, the fact Vesia got out of that without giving up a run and keeping the donut on Ohtani’s statline was a miracle

  6. Disgusting! They should punish him by sending him to some non-contending team. Somewhere in a city thats long past its prime as an added insult. Just a real random place. Maybe in the middle of the country to keep him away from any nice beach distractions? Maybe. Anyone know where?

  7. To us, it was a historic performance but to him it was a lame performance because he couldn’t finish the inning.

  8. Smart decision though. He was over 100 pitches and starting to lose command a little bit, better to preserve his arm

  9. Cocaine bear is the best when there’s a mess to clean up. If there’s no mess he sucks.
