Jet has been unbelievable for us to start the year. Can’t believe I’m saying this but Elvis has also been really solid to start the season. I was definitely scratching my head at them alternating starts but so far the load management on both of them is perfect. Elvis isn’t being completely overworked yet and Jet clearly can handle a bigger role.
I’m no mathematician but it seems to me that the stats say he’s second best thus far. Love Jet. Hope he continues to grow. Imagine if he ends up winning two Vezinas.
Refreshing that the goaltending has been the strong point so far. Now we just have to find the offence we had last year and we’ll be scary
In real numbers and not advanced stats he has a 2.0 GAA and a .928 sv%
Him and Elvis have been great, happy for both of them
This always stresses me out as we have, for the history of the franchise, always had incredible goalies that wholeheartedly have to carry the defense, leading to burnout. I’d like to see that stop.
