NHL Saturday Slate Expert Picks | Knights vs Flames | Canadiens vs Rangers | Stars vs Blues

Hey guys, it’s Terry Edelman, expert handicapper at Pixs and Parlays here with a Saturday NHL preview for you guys. I will be breaking down three games on the NHL slate uh with plus money plays, plus money player props that I like in all three games. If you watch the video on Thursday, uh went three and two, of course, all plus money props. Um so um Wyatt Johnston plus 170 cashed uh and then Jack Eel I think it was around plus 133 I gave it out for on the show depending if you waited you got closer to plus 140 plus 145 and then to Pavvel Dorf the bonus was I believe 16 plus 165 so 3 and2 in the last video going to try to keep that going here uh when you’re betting uh big plus money props uh 3 and2 is a very good tonight. And if you’re looking for my premium plays available over on Pix and Parlays.net, but we will start with the very first game that I’m going to be breaking down, which is the Dallas Stars minus 140 at the St. Louis Blues plus 120. Total of 5 and a half here in this one. Dallas coming off their first loss of the season uh in their last game against the Vancouver Conucks. So, they’re now 3-1 in the season, 20-0 on the road. St. Louis uh coming off a disappointing loss in their last game. They’re two and two in this season, but they’ve lost both home games. Uh the St. Louis Blues. Looking at how these teams have faced how how they’ve done against each other in the past. Uh Dallas 8-1 and one in the last 10 meetings between the teams. They’ve dominated the St. Louis Blues. And we’ve seen a lot of lowscoring games. Six of the last eight have gone under five and a half. And we’ve seen a lot of overtime for the last seven games between these two teams going to overtime. So, if you’re looking at the side in this game, I like the Dallas Stars to win this game, but at minus 140, it’s a little bit out of my price range. So, if you were looking to bet the side in this game, I would use Dallas money line as a parlay piece. I wouldn’t go with Dallas in regulation just because of the past the heavy uh overtime history between these two teams um would keep me off Dallas in regulation. So, I would look at Dallas moneyline as a parlay piece. That being said, uh we’re going right back to why Johnston anytime goal here plus 220 over at FanDuel. Uh and reason being, uh the Dallas Stars have played four games this year and why Johnston has scored in every single game, all four games. uh he has the hot stick right now and a fantastic price here at plus 220 especially for a Dallas team that’s had a lot of success against the Blues and a Dallas team that is going to want to bounce back after their last game. Now the Blues are going to want to bounce back as well. However, uh the Dallas Stars are just the better team in all areas. Uh, so coming off a 5-3 loss to Vancouver, the Blues are coming off an 8-3 loss to the Chicago Blackhawks. Uh, the Blues have lost 5-0 to Minnesota and 8-3 to Chicago in their two home games this season, getting absolutely spanked. So, we’ll see if Dallas is able to do that here in this game. But, we’ll bet why Johnston for the Dallas Stars anytime goal plus 220. see if he can go to five consecutive games to start the season with a goal. Going on to our next game, we have the New York Rangers and the Montreal Canadians here in this one. Uh the Montreal Canadians off to a great start uh so far this season uh at 4-1, 2-0 at home. Uh the Rangers on the other side 23 and one to start the season, but they’re two 0 and one on the road. Uh so the Rangers have uh played better on the road uh than they have at home so far to start the year. Looking at past history between these teams, uh the Rangers are actually 50 and2. So, five wins, no regulation losses, and then two overtime losses in the last seven meetings between the teams. And we’ve seen seven consecutive games go over six and a half between these teams. And some of the games went quite a bit over. So, we do see some very high-scoring games between these two teams, overtime and three of the last seven. So, we do usually see competitive games as well. And I think this is going to be a competitive game. Uh, the Montreal Canadians, a very good team, 4- one um having an overtime uh comeback win uh in their last game. uh and uh the New York Rangers here on this other side. And it’s actually back-to- back uh overtime wins for the Montreal Canadians. Um winning in overtime in both games. The Rangers, they’ve lost three in a row now. And they’ve only scored one goal total in their last three games. In their last game against Toronto, the other two previous games against Edmonton Washington, they were shut out. They didn’t score at all. Uh so now they’ve only allowed five goals total in those three games. So three very very lowscoring games. I think that changes here. I think we get a high-scoring game. I would lean with the over five and a half. I think the Rangers do get some offense here. I think Montreal get some offense as well. Uh but I’ll take Cole Caulfield also known as goal Cfield. Anytime goal plus 175 in this game. Caulfield has now scored in three consecutive games. He is one of those players uh that I think is going to have a huge season this year. Uh 37 goals last year. I think he’s going 40 45 uh maybe even a bit higher if he if he really has a good season. Three consecutive games with a goal. Uh scored the overtime winner uh for Montreal uh in back-to-back games now. So against Seattle, he scored the overtime winner. And then against Nashville, he scored the game-tying goal in the last minute of the third period and then went on to score again the game winner. So Cole Cawfield has an extremely hot stick right now and he’s scoring goals when they really matter. So we’ll take him at plus 175. Great value for Gold Coughfield to score in this game. And then next up, the third game, uh the night game here, uh between the Calgary Flames and the Vegas Golden Knights. Um Vegas 40 and one in the last five meetings between the teams. And we’ve actually seen some lowerc scoring games here. Um one over, five unders, two games finished with six goals uh in the previous uh games between the teams. However, kind of like how the Rangers are playing right now, I think it’s going to be a higher scoring game between New York and Montreal. I also think it’s going to be a higher scoring game here because even though these teams have trended towards the under in the past, um the Vegas Golden Knights are a heavy over team. 30 and2 in the season, they’ve gone over five and a half in four of their five games. Uh including two games that were 65. Uh obviously a 6-5 shootout loss to start their season and a 6-5 um win against Boston in their last game. These two teams just faced each other in Calgary uh the game before um the game before the game before they’re just uh they just played uh so uh 4-2 win there. And Calgary has lost four games in a row. 5-1, 42, 4-2, and 3-1 in their last game. I think it’s another good game for the Vegas Golden Knights. And if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Jack Eel anytime goal. I’m seeing around plus 130. Shop your lines. It’s not available at uh all the books yet. Uh so I I do think we might get a better price here uh in this game. Um, but I will be betting Jack Eel anytime goal in this one. Uh, he has scored in four of Vegas’s five games this season. Uh, and he was like Cole Coughfield one of those players that I had circled that I was going to be betting his goal scoring prop uh to start the year. Uh, did I expect him to score in four or five games? Um, maybe not. But I do expect him to have a very good season at plus 130. And if you’re taking Jack Eel, you really should be taking Pavvel Dorf, also known now as Pavll Skorave anytime goal, which I’m also seeing around plus 130, but again, his goal prop available at all books. I do think we might get a better price here as well. Like Jack Eel, Pavll Skorv has scored in four of the five games for the Vegas Golden Knights so far this year. obviously as I’ve I’ve said on previous shows, led the team in goals and shots last year and is picking up right where he left off. Um a fantastic season for him. His last game, a beautiful goal uh with a beautiful pass by Mitch Marner uh to Dorv to score that goal. So, uh four plus money player props here on the show.
