For people wondering why Steve is so angry, it’s because all the problems that keep causing the Leafs to lose in the playoffs and the team says they’ll fix never get fixed.
When Marchment hit Stolarz, none of the leafs players stood up for him. That’s the kind of team toughness the Leafs lack and it’s something you need to win in the playoffs… in addition to skill.
Imagine going out of your way to listen to someone angrily shriek about sports.
Like look at my post history. Sports takes for years and years. Some good, most bad. But like c’mon, it’s just sports.
It’s weird. That was us last year. That was us the year before. That’s not us so far this year.
We’re hitting people and we’re protecting our own in a way we haven’t in a couple seasons now. That’s one of the reasons it looks and feels different so far.
I take his point about DNA not just changing on its own, but it sure seems to have turned in a hurry for the Kraken. We’ll see how well it holds up when they hit some adversity, but I love what I’m seeing so far!
