I’m convinced we don’t win a game this year

  1. You must be new here, the Jets are not allowed to have nice things, and the 1st overall pick is a nice thing

  2. Wait. You guys are still watching this team every week?

Also, dont be surprised when we rattle off 3 meaningless wins late Novearly Dec to end up with the 4th pick overall

  3. You guys have not been watching the jets long enough, we will win 2 out of the last 3 games to blow the draft position.

  4. I think it’s time for the Jets finay to get ruin number one overall pick. It’s the only thing left

  5. Honestly, if we had a different QB, different game plan, different O Line, different D Line, different head coach, different coordinators, different GM, different owner we could’ve won!

  6. It’s obvious for anyone who has been watching that this is the year they are going all out for #1 pick.

  7. Fools. Fields will have back to back 300 yard games to knock us back to the 2nd or 3rd QB in next years draft

  8. They will absolutely win just enough to kill their draft position. This is a regular occurrence.

  9. I assume if tyrod Taylor stays the guy, his mediocre competence will be able to net a W or two, especially if the defense has gotten their shit together to the extent that holding opponents to 13 points back to back indicates

(I’m sure some advanced stats something or other said it somewhere, but I’m very curious to know the last time an NFL franchise pulled such B1G west chicanery by losing back to back games when allowing 13 points or less.)

  10. Today was the first day I started loving it. We need the #1 overall pick which will end up in a top offensive HC candidate to want to come here after they fire Glenn

  11. Easy to say immediately following inept games like today, but just remember how out of left field that win against the Rams in 2020 came. That Rams team wasn’t peak McVay Rams, but they were pretty good, and the Jets somehow went out to LA and won.

  12. Per Jersey Mobb Rules. The Jets only win when they say so…..Cash Cows for the Families….

  13. Lmao our team is fucking dogshit. Even bad teams try. We are just going out there because we’re forced to.

  14. Why would you want them to win at this point? Lose until you have a sizable lead in the #1 pick race and then pick the right qb.

  15. i think about fandom a lot, especially considering fans are extremely loyal. and that loyalty is weaponized against you.

it makes me think of this quote.

Your Trauma Isn’t Your Fault—But Your Healing Is Your Responsibility. meaning, you aren’t responsible for whoever got you to love a particular team, but continuing to be in a toxic relationship can only be solved by making a different choice.

these owners win no matter the record, due to the millions/billions they get. at least the players get paid. the only ones who lose are the fans.

i went through this with a horrible owner, and as soon as he was forced out, they make the NFCC after almost 30 yrs. is that a coincidence?

    1. owner 2. gm 3. hc 4. qb.

most fans blame/focus on players or coaches.. that’s 3 and 4.. which are much less impactful compared to 1 and 2.

for you guys, i think you should just not watch for about 2-3 years, and bring in a great talent evaluator. i keep saying John Dorsey, he’s done it in 3 separate teams. even if you guys got a mahomes/allen tier of qb, there is nothing to convince me that they wouldn’t get IR’d like rodgers right away. you guys need to rebuild in a PIT/NE style where everything is there, except the QB, then draft a QB, and stick them into a system that can be carried by the rest of the team until they get their sealegs under them. in a division with Allen and Maye in it, there are no short term fixes. you gotta beat Allen especially as a team, so start rebuilding. it’s frustrating, because you guys have been waiting forever, but delaying the rebuild isn’t going to make the winning come faster. whatever pipe dream that you guys were sold was b.s. the sooner you accept it, the better. teams like LAC and NE had QB’s at least. build a roster, and make it at least enticing for a decent HC to come. look at how many opportunities Ben Johnson had before he chose CHI. i’d be less focused on the coaching, and more so on the roster building, and stability of the org, to get a good HC in here if you think Glenn aint the guy, which he probably isn’t.
