Morning Cuppa Hockey is a newer show/podcast. It’s live on Daily Faceoff Monday through Thursday 6 AM Pacific time, and I’m a regular viewer/chat participant.
Last week I was pitching the guys (Jonny Lazarus and Colby Cohen) a little shit after Jonny was talking about how excited he was to watch Anaheim that night, and we were also playing and we’ve been doing so well. I think I might be the only Kraken fan in the chat, but I definitely make my presence known (and take a lot of shit for it).
I pointed out that they’ve said themselves that two of their best player guests if not THE best player guests were Monty and Joey, and how the Kraken are kicking ass this season. They admitted they should try to give the Kraken more love, and mused about whether they had any connections to the organization.
And hey hey, whaddya say? Who is the guest on this morning show? None other than our own beloved John Forslund.

This is a great show that I’ve been a big fan of, and I encourage everyone to check it out. Definitely do a search for the episodes with Joey (a few weeks ago) and Monty (last spring, I believe). They were excellent.
