Vladdy is a Baddy.
crazy how they chose not to play game 6 yesterday and went straight to a winner take all game today..
And I’m supposed to work today?
Meanwhile the Dodgers can rest all of their pitchers for the World Series.
Let’s appreciate how incredible it is that these two teams meet after their droughts AND go to 7 games to win a pennant
Well it’s one game and ultimately anything can happen. The bats could be loud or quiet. Bieber could repeat his ALCS game 3 or his ALDS game 3.
I’m just happy the Blue Jays fought back down 0-2 to get here. Whoever wins this gets the pleasure of facing down the monster Dodgers in the World Series.
I was only a few years old the last time the Jays were in the World Series so it might as well never have happened. Only one team has been to and won a championship series for this city in the 32 years since then (yes okay two if you count the TFC).
I was at the game last night and it was electric. The jays gave the crowd something to yell for.
Just a neutral fan here to say thank you to both teams for giving us a great series and a game 7.
I’m sorry one of you has to go home tonight. Just promise me that whomever survives, you’ll beat the Dodgers.
This is either the best or worst day in Seattle sports history.
I could truly be happy for any of these teams advancing. As a neutral fan, I could see it be equally as awesome to watch Jays-Dodgers or Mariners-Dodgers.
With that said, I’m Canadian so I kinda have to bandwagon my country’s team here.
Is Victor Robles really THAT bad offensively to justify Dominic Canzone and his .111 BA in the lineup? Even with his poor defense??
Tonight is the night we find out who the Dodgers will win the World Series against. Exciting.
Either team can still win this series.
Both Kirby and Bieber have been homer prone these playoffs.
Seattle has the pen edge… so that will matter overall.
As a Cleveland fan, I know watching Bieber this can be a feast or famine game for Seattle’s line up tonight.
Bieber has a history where he can be absolutely rocked on home runs in the playoffs, or he can have a 6 IP 9 K 2 ER kind of game.
The Mariners’ greatest enemy remains themselves. You simply cannot win a ball game when you commit 3 run-scoring errors and end consecutive innings with RISP (two loaded!) on double plays.
I think that “the mariners get to game 7 and lose” makes the better dorktown episode so I’m not sure why anyone is expecting anything different
I think the Jays lose this one. I see a lot of doom about Seattle but the reason yesterday sucked so much is that Seattle very much couldve won. The triple double plays were soul crushing but those balls could have found the holes and easily swung the game. Yesavage was good but those Ms hitters found their way on base multiple times over and over, and I have no doubt they’ll do it again today.
Baseball is all about adjustments and one bad start for a pitcher does not mean they’ll suck forever. If you think George Kirby is giving up 8 again then idk what to say. He’ll also be on the shortest of leashes and game 7 means Seattle could rock a lethal pitcher every inning, which I can’t say the same for the Jays.
