We have one thing in common – neither of us Couldn’t Care Less about the Jets Strugggggggggglaning.
Not only convinced that our SB was rigged, we can’t even get right enough to enjoy minimal success. The AFL desperately needed legitimacy if they were going to ever compete long term with the NFL. Winning the SB legitimized both the AFL and set the leagues on course for a merger.
Not true. Rex Ryan had them on cusp. GM Tannenbaum firing began the downfall. It’s been a carousel since.
