On one hand, the workload management makes sense. [Mitchell] Robinson, given his injury history, should be managed closely…the goal is to have him healthy for the playoffs.

But the idea that your plan for workload management includes him maybe not playing on Wednesday – again, this could be gamesmanship from the Knicks, but I know Robinson was dealing with some discomfort earlier in the preseason.

Knicks are saying that he's not hurt, and it's workload management. The plan should be for him to play, without a doubt, but maybe the Knicks want to keep everybody guessing, keep the Cavs guessing.

It would be strange, though, if this whole plan as you're managing his workload included him not playing the first game of the season. That would be bizarre."

  1. I’m going to the second game (Celtics) and I’m already assuming Mitch, OG and Hart will be out. Disappointing but it’s too late what can you do.

  2. I know people get bent out of shape about it, but he’s too injury prone to be relied on and should be moved for another decent center if we can find the right move.

  3. Its clear he has some minor injury and theyre just not releasing it to prevent panic

  4. This is peak ticket sales time. Just saying, if there were an injury, there would be some pressure to hold off on announcing it.

  5. Someone is not telling us something. Injuries are what will most likely keep this team from going very far, once again.

  6. The universe really needs to give Mitch one healthy season.Hukpo better step up against the Cavs if this is true.
