As a fan of both these miserable franchises, yup.
2025 mariners reflect the 2022 Padres so much. Their postseason run was more memorable and more devastating in the end. I was rooting for Randy, Munoz, and Naylor but damn that hurt even for me. At least we can maybe see Lauer, France, and Tijuas native Kirk get a ring
