2025-2026 Chicago Blackhawks Centennial Premium Jersey | Deep Dive Review

The Chicago Blackhawks are celebrating their 100th anniversary. For our first hockey video of the season, I think it’s only appropriate that we talk about the new Centennial jerseys. We’ll talk about sizing, quality, and features, pricing, and any other thoughts that might be important. Let’s not waste any more time and jump straight into it. Key the bumper. Hey, who’s got it better than us? And here we go, folks. We got the 2025/2026 Chicago Blackhawks Centennial jersey. These are going to retail for $230. But honestly, guys, I’m sure if you wait a little bit into the season, these are probably going to go on sale. Up at the very top, we’ve got Always an original heat sealed onto the collar. I’m pretty sure this design is going to be sublimated on an authentic pro jersey, but I can confirm once I get the jersey in hand. Inside the collar, we’ve got the size tag as well as the country of origin. And just a heads up, guys, a size 46 is going to equate to a small, but I wear mediumsiz shirts and this one fits me pretty well. Be sure to stick to the end of the video, guys, because we will be talking about sizing. The NHL Shield is going to be that new reflective material. When you move it around, the colors shift and it’s almost like looking at a rainbow. The Centennial jerseys will feature laces. These have no functionality whatsoever, but it does give it a nice throwback look. For this particular jersey, they also updated the color. On the standard home jerseys, it’s going to be a black and white color mix, but on here, it’s just going to be black. On the left shoulder, we’ve got the Tomahawk logo. Part of it is going to be chain stitched, but the C here is this new shiny gold material. And on the right shoulder, we’ve got a special patch commemorating the 100th anniversary season. The numbers are going to be double stitched stacked twill. So, you’ve got a white layer sewn onto a black layer. Every color of the sleeve stripe is going to be sewn on there separately. So, you’ve got white on black on white. And in the armpit area, you’ve got some mesh panels for ventilation. The main standout of the jersey is of course going to be the Blackhawks logo at the chest. I’ve said it before, and it’s been backed up by a lot of fans, but this is really one of the most beautiful logos in all of sports. All the details on the crest will be chain stitched. What is unique about this particular jersey is this gold border around the logo. I can understand why they did it. And this is better than not having any updates, but really they could have gone with one of the old school Blackhawks logos. And that would have looked better than having a gold border around the present logo. And since some of those logos had a border anyways, they could have just made that shiny. But again, this is better than nothing. The stripes at the bottom are also individually sewn on. And inside we’ve got every single year the Blackhawks won the Stanley Cup. And all of this is going to be sublimated. And of course, moving up, we’ve got the fight strap. Like I said in some of my other videos, this will not hold up as well as a fight strap from an authentic pro or team issue jersey, but it is nice that we still have these. And one more little detail is this 100th anniversary tag that’s seen from both the inside and you can see it on the back as well. Quick announcement, guys. At the very top, you’ve got the Fanatic’s logo. And right below that, we’ve got Connor Badard’s name sewn onto a name plate. And of course, on the upper shoulders, you can see both the Tomahawk logo and the Centennial logo. Moving on down, we’ve got the back numbers. Unlike the sleeve numbers, these actually have a gold border around them. So, very similar to the chest logo. Again, I think they could have gone with something a little bit more creative, but this doesn’t look bad. And as we move towards the bottom, we can see both the fight strap stitching from the outside and the 100th anniversary tag from the back. Here’s one more look at the jersey from the backside. And one more time for the audience, here’s the front of the jersey. In terms of sizing, this jersey is a size 46 and will measure roughly 21 in from pit to pit. Towards the bottom hem, it will flare out just a little bit and will measure 23 in across. The total length is going to measure around 31 12 in. From the end of the sleeve to the shoulder cut off area, it’s going to measure around 22 in. And from the end of the sleeve to the collar, it’ll measure 29 in. Now, I’m about 5’8 in 175 lb. The size 46 is equivalent to a small, but as someone that regularly wears mediumsiz shirts, I think this fits me better than the actual medium equivalent, which is a size 50. If you’re in between sizes, I’d say try out both sizes in person at a store and see which one fits you better. And there we go, guys. to quick look at the new 2025 2026 Chicago Blackhawks Centennial jersey. I would love to hear your thoughts. For me, I think this one is okay, but if I’m being honest, some of the other original six teams have way nicer Centennial jerseys. The one that comes to mind for me is the Detroit Red Wings. Between the leather captain’s patches and the chain stitch logo, that one actually looks pretty unique from their regular home jersey. The Blackhawks, on the other hand, I feel like they kind of phoned this one in. For the most part, it just looks like their standard home uniforms. You of course have the gold border around the crest, a more simplified collar, and some sparkly details here and there, but overall, it just kind of comes off as a ripoff of the standard home jersey. It’s definitely a different feel than the Winter Classic jersey, which was a completely different design from the home jersey. Now, being that it is the Centennial jersey, it is still unique and that it’s commemorating an anniversary season. If you have the budget, I’d say go pick this one up.
