MARINERS POSTCAST: Seattle Mariners LOSE HEARTBREAKER to Blue Jays in GAME 7 OF ALCS
This is the Mariners Post Cast, your instant game reaction for the Seattle Mariners, part of the Locked On podcast network, your team every day. Welcome into the Mariners Post. The last Mariners Postcast of the year, unfortunately. Um, it’s Anderson Hurst and Chris Crawford. You didn’t change your name. That’s a perfect way to end it, though, isn’t it? That’s a perfect team way to end it. I’ll change it right now, but Oh, man. Uh, yeah. Toronto Blue Jays are going to the World Series for the first time in 30 whatever years. I don’t care. The Mariners season is over in game seven of the ALCS. There’s a lot to talk about today. Um, there’s some pitching decisions, there’s some, you know, mediocre offense, I’ll say, minus a couple players. And it just sucks. Uh, I have a lot of anger, but I’m also very tired. Yeah. I’m emotionally drained. So, uh, sad fat man. What do you think? I I just hate I hate this. I hate this. And all losses hurt, you know, a little bit. You know, there are some that obviously hurt more than others. And this is up there. It’s probably the hardest. It’s probably the hardest loss since Super Bowl 48 for me. Um Michigan Washington’s up there, too. But yeah, Super Bowl 49. Yeah, Super Bowl 48, man. Pretty good game. Um, I I’m I’m really angry that this was avoidable. I’m really angry that this was, you know, we talk about process and result because of course we do because we’re nerdy people who know that term and it’s been brought up over sports so much. The process here sucked. The results matched. Bada bing, bada boom. They were they were ying and yang, right? They they were they were perfectly in line with each other. Um, I would not make a good general manager or make a good uh coach that has roster decisions because I’m really an emotional person. I’d have a hard time not firing the manager of the Seattle Mariners right now. I’d have a really hard time not doing it. And that’s a mistake on my behalf. I’m just being honest with you. Like even I can see it. Like it’s crazy to think that way. But I’m pissed. I I am so mad about the decision that ultimately cost you this baseball game that I don’t know what else there is to talk about. There’s lots to talk about. Lots. But ultimately it comes down to that that your manager made one of the worst in-game decisions. a decision that if you were on any kind of social media, you saw everyone going, “What the hell are they doing?” Didn’t back it up. Didn’t make him look foolish or make the people who questioned the decision look foolish at all. And I’m just really sad. I’m really, really sad. I’m sad for my family. I’m sad for the community. I’m sad for everyone because I thought the Mariners deserve to win this baseball game and I thought the Mariners deserve to go to the World Series, but they’re not going to in large part because of one horrific decision. Yeah. Um I hate the Blue Jays. I’m I’m rooting for the Dodgers. Oh, Dodgers in four, by the way. It doesn’t matter if you’re rooting for the Blue Jays. You could literally have a Maple Leaf heart. You’re going to get your asses kicked. It’s going to be a destruction. You’re going to get clobbered. And I have some Blue Jays friends. I I do. And for those people, I’m happy. It’s been Yeah. Still Still um the I’ve been friends with them on the internet for a very long time. And I have some real life ones as well. Um I’m happy for those folks. I’m not happy for the fan base at all. I’m sad for our fan base. I’m sad. I’m really really sad. what I was gonna say. Yeah. No, it’s okay. No, I I was leading into me saying I, if I’m trying to be as objective as possible, the Blue Jays deserve to win this series. I’m going to be completely honest. They were the better team. They were the better team throughout all seven games. Uh the Mariners had moments. Uh it ju it but them every single at bat is incredibly hard to get people out. And I cannot say that about the Seattle Mariners whatsoever. No. Um, and I I realized the Mariners their starting pitching wasn’t good enough. The Mariners uh their bullpen actually minus maybe today if one thing was actually their one of their strengths of this series. But it the Blue Jays were the better team and it’s it sucks and I I say that while also knowing I think the Mariners were the better team today. Uh and their manager didn’t do enough to make it matter enough. I’ll put it that way. Uh let’s get right into the decision. We normally do uh we normally start with the start. Um but it kind of it’s all encompassing here. It is. It’s it’s it’s George Kirby being taken out in the after four uh for Brian Woo. It’s Brian Woo being taken out after uh two plus innings two and a third for Edward Bazardo which eventually costs you the game the season possibly more than that because I don’t know when we’re going to get back to this point guys I’m just be gonna be completely honest I tried to be introspective and of course it’s George Springer because because why wouldn’t it be after everything with the booing and all that stuff um it rivals Scott Service’s decision to bring in Robbie Ray against uh Yordon Alvarez. It probably worse to be completely honest. Um not just because of the stakes uh but it’s that much more egregious in my eyes. Um and so just Chris everything there. Yeah. I this decision I honestly like I think one of the underrated parts of it is um taking out Kirby as early as you did. Not because Woo was bad. No. because you could have gotten I think at least one more inning from George and then it’s Brian Woo in that situation for his second inning instead of his third inning. Right. Right. Push it back one more so to speak. Oh, sorry. Please, please continue. No, I I’m just leading it off to you. Go. Yeah. Um there’s a lot to talk about here and I will do my best to not get all yell and stuff. So, first of all, Brian Woo comes in and there was some hard contact. You know, there were some base hits up the middle. It was there’s hard contact against every American everybody. And they that’s what they do, right? They they make hard contact. He was mostly effective. My biggest issue outside of not going to Munoz in that situation because what the hell is the point of having Andre Munoz if you’re not going to use him? Um, my biggest issue was Woo made Kirby or Woo made Springer look like a freaking idiot in the previous at bat. Yeah, why not go to that one more time? Why not? And the other thing is, and I hate saying this because, you know, my my immediate first thought there was, why not go in this situation, bottom of the order to Gabe Spy, who has pitched well against the bottom of that lineup, too. And then you can have Munoz ready to go. then you can have Mooney ready to go because that’s the one part of this lineup I feel confident in Gabe Spire pitching in right now. Either way, the decision to go with Bizardo is bad in a lot of ways. It’s even worse when he threw two innings yesterday. He threw two innings yesterday. And it’s not like he had a day off in between. No, he didn’t. It was yesterday. Literally yesterday. And I’m just telling you right now that it’s I try not to do too much confirmation bias and recency bias, but if you were questioning Dan Wilson as an in-game manager before today, oh my god, are you questioning the hell out of him tomorrow? And here’s what I will say right now. Um, if you are going to bring Dan Wilson back, and they are. Dan Wilson’s going to be the manager of the team next year. Let’s just let’s just keep it 100. Um, you need a better bench coach then. You need somebody who is just in his ear doing a better job. I’m sorry. I’m sorry to all due respect to Vania and those guys. Clearly the information isn’t getting through to him because somebody should have been able to talk Dan Wilson into not making that decision. Somebody should have been there to say, “Dan, this doesn’t make any sense whatsoever.” It sucks. It sucks. And you know, Bazardo was so good for the Mariners this year. I hope people don’t have like crazy ill to him. It was a bad pitch. Really bad pitch. Really, really bad pitch. But Bazardo was probably their second best reliever for most of the year. One of the key cogs in that situation, second or third, you know, but he’s not their best. He’s not their best. and you’re facing the top of the lineup with a two-run lead and you don’t go with your best high leverage reliever. It’s inexcusable in the postseason. It’s excusable on August 12th. It’s excusable on May 3rd. It ain’t excusable on October 20th, 2025 in a game seven where there’s no tomorrow. Literally no tomorrow. So, uh, and I didn’t I honestly didn’t expect Dan to go to Munoz because it’s what he’s done all year. Even if he has gone for two innings of Muno, it’s been eighth and ninth inning, right? It’s always been Munoz in the ninth. And that’s something that it’s been brought up a couple times where it’s like, hey, you know, you can use your reliever not to close a game, by the way. You can use your best reliever in the highest leverage situation. It’s crazy. Sometimes it is closing the game, but sometimes it isn’t. Right. Yeah, that was the ball game. that and like there it I’m trying to get my words together here. It’s not like there wasn’t a ton of other options either. You could have gone to Luis Castillo over Eduard Bazardo. That would have been better. Yeah. Uh you could have gone to Munoz there. Have Castillo close out the last two. I don’t like there’s so many other way. You mentioned Gabe Spire. Yeah. Uh like I said about leaving Kirby in one more then that’s Brian Woo’s second. There’s so many other ways where this happens and I get it. These are hard decisions to make and I questioned taking Kirby out when it happened on on Twitter and I got relatively proven wrong by how good Brian Woo looked. Yeah. Um but again, if you leave him in, Brian Woo does what he does in the next two innings and you’re not even thinking about this, right? So yeah, I just it sucks. Um maybe the Mariners kind of doubled down on their history in 1995 and 2001 when they hired Dan Wilson and Edgar Martinez as their kind of two faces of this team. Um at least on the field faces of this team and uh the Mariners kind of did what they normally do in their history tonight and that is not make the World Series. Yeah, it sucks. It it it just sucks. And no matter what you feel about the decision making, this is heartbreaking. It’s heartbreaking to lose in this fashion. It’s heartbreaking to lose against a player this organization hates. This organization hates, our fan base hates George Springer because he cheated. He’s a cheater. He’s a cheater. No matter what happened, he’s a cheater. He was complicit in cheating. And that sucks. It doesn’t mean that he didn’t put a good swing on a baseball tonight. It doesn’t mean that he is one of the few reasons the Blue Jays might have a chance in this series because he’s been a really good offensive player. Um, but it sucks to lose to that guy. I would have much rather been beaten by Vlatty Jr. or Addison Barger or Dalton Vo or even Alejandro Kirk. I’ll take getting beat over those guys than George Springer. I don’t like him. if you like him, you’re a Toronto Blue Jay fan, or you just don’t give a crap about cheating, and that’s fine. That’s fine. But it sucks to lose to that guy. It sucks out loud to lose to that dude. Yeah. And I just feel bad, like you said, for the fan base cuz Oh, it sucks. Boy, do they deserve it. So many people. And I was close. I was getting ready to name the people that deserve this if they were able to pull it out. And it’s again once again kind of a waste of a couple great performances today. If not great performances, great moments I guess because the Cal Raleigh home run, the Julio home run, the the the double um leading to the Josh Naylor RBI in the first inning. Um Brian Woo being excellent uh and just dominating their lineup. George Kirby’s start great start. Excellent. Uh, and just it’s a waste and you end it ends up not mattering. Are we going to even remember the the game five of of the of the ALCS anymore? Like, well, yes, because the Seattle Mariners will make damn sure you never forget about it. There’ll be 40 commercials about it tomorrow. So, you’ll never forget about it. Like, this team did commercials for a Kevin Milwood combined no hitter. Are you kidding me? We’ll never ever ever stop seeing that swing. And I’m okay with it because it was a really cool moment. But this fan, this uh team that’s never won a World Series relies on nostalgia more than like any other team. We are going to see that homer. And you know what? I that homer is still a great moment. It’s still a great moment. It just didn’t become the great moment it should have been because you should have been able to win one of these next two games and advance to the World Series. Yeah. Uh let’s give some love to our sponsors here in the Mariners Post. My name’s Anderson Hurst. Christopher Crawford uh joining me today as the Mariners season ends. Um and we’ll be right back on the Mariners post. The NFL season is here and FanDuel has an offer you don’t want to miss. Right now, new customers can bet just $5 and get 300 in bonus bets if you win. That’s right. Pick a bet, put down five bucks, and if it hits, you’ll unlock $300 in bonus bets to use across the app. And that app is awesome. FanDuel is the best way. If you want to put some action on the Blue Jays losing in three games, I might do that. Um, depends on, you know, what happens with the Dodgers and their pitching situ. No, I’m just kidding. Uh but if you like putting action on NFL, you know, basketball, uh soccer, baseball, whatever you like to do, FanDuel is the best way to track all your apps, overunders, money lines, uh however you like to do it, whether you’re a casual fan diving into the stats or someone who uh likes to, you know, really get nitty-gritty with everything. That’s why I use Game Time, the app that gives the advantage back to fans. Game time is fast, easy, and backed by the Game Time guarantee. You’ll always get 100% authentic tickets delivered on time at the best price. Plus, all fees are included. So, the price you see is the price you pay. And that’s huge for me. Uh, so that’s doesn’t happen with Game Time. Uh, whatever you see when you’re shopping for your spot is the price you’ll pay at the very end after fees. Whether you are a Blue Jays fan coming here to drink tears, uh thank you. Thank you for listening. Appreciate Appreciate it. Uh just don’t be toxic in the comments, please, because we will we will Oh, I’ve got I have denbe I have denbe matumbboed so many accounts already. Like like we can call it webby’s now like they are getting just swatted to half court but yeah Mariners lose this one four to three in game seven of the ALCS. I keep want to say world series but nope. The Mariners are not going to the World Series again for the 49th straight year. They are still the only team to not appear in the World Series. Uh Chris I want to take a couple minutes to say thank you to everyone because this is our last Mariners postcast here. Yeah. Um it sucks what we endured today. Um it really seemed like for a while. If you have any last thoughts on the game before we kind of say goodbye to everyone. No, just just real quick like um it was great to see Julio have some big moments in this game. It sucks that he’s the last out. It sucks that he hitten into a couple of double plays as well, but you’re nowhere close without that guy. It was great to see Cal hit a home run. Um I don’t think you could play a worse game than Leo Revas did and that sucks because he had such a great moment for you in Detroit. Yeah. Um I question the decision to pinch hit Domone for Victor Robles, the one of the few guys who keeps getting on base for you today. Um I don’t get that. I guess you’re saying, “Hey, swing for the fences Dom and hope for the best.” Um, there were some cool individual moments in this game, but they don’t mean anything because your manager absolutely crapped the bed and you are now they’re they’re just moments. They’re just moments. You will uh you will remember where you were for this game. And unfortunately, that’s more negative than positive. Yeah. And it just screams so Seattle Mariners to me. a team that, you know, felt like it had what it takes um to at least get to the get to the dance, get to the last last two teams standing. And uh you you have some awesome moments in there. Um but that’s all they are. Like you said, it’s all they are. You don’t get to celebrate going to the World Series. You don’t get to celebrate doing something really special that you’ve never done before. And the season comes to an end in game seven of the ALCS. Um, I just want to say thank you to everyone that’s stuck with us throughout the year, especially those of you who have been with us from day one. It’s been such a fun experience. Um, how special it was and it’s it’s hard to think about it now, but this was a very special season in Seattle Mariners history. Um, they got closer, I guess you could say, to going to the World Series than they ever have been before. And um I don’t I don’t know maybe I’m weird in thinking that I don’t think it’s a coincidence that it’s that’s the year that we’ve started doing postcasts here. I uh I felt a really good uh community with you guys. Really appreciate everyone um that has uh you know stuck with us uh listen to us even if it’s just once or twice here and there in the big games. We love you and uh we appreciate you guys hanging out with us every single night after every single Mariners game. We will be back next year. Don’t worry. This is not goodbye. This is until next time. So, uh, that’s my goodbye. Chris, do you have anything to say to our to our No, just the same stuff. It’s been, you know, uh, I’ll be completely blunt with you. It was a difficult decision to stop doing what I was doing and to come over here and I haven’t regretted it very often. I haven’t regretted it very often. Um, it’s been great. Um, you guys, it it took a little bit for some of you guys to I think totally embrace us, but you guys did it and you guys have been kind and you’ve given constructive feedback and you have been you’ve been awesome and I just really appreciate it. Um, I wish we were still going. I wish we had I do too four to seven more times to do this and I’m very frustrated and sad that we’re not, but I sure am appreciative of all the support we’ve had for the past uh close to six months. Yeah. Uh it’s it’s been really special. Um, I’m sure you’ll see us throughout the offseason, maybe once or twice, just popping up on your feed somewhere, whether it’s me and Chris doing something special or uh one of us hopping on with Tai and Kobe or maybe doing the the MLB squad show as we talk offseason stuff. But uh, no more Mariners postcasts obviously with the season being over again. Mariners lose this one four to three. George Springer hits a massive home run um after Dan Wilson makes a terrible decision and we’ll be living that um for a long time. Uh we’ll be we’ll be saying what if for a very very very long time unfortunately. So uh that ends the Mariners season in game seven of the ALCS. We’ll talk to you guys next time whenever that is. Thank you so much for everything throughout this whole season. Go Dodgers.
Anders and Chris break down Game 7 of the American League Championship Series between the Seattle Mariners and Toronto Blue Jays. Seattle took a 3-1 lead, but Eduard Bazardo gavec up a three-run homer in the seventh to George Springer. This is the worst. Thank you for coming.

See you next season
At least the Seahawks won today
You guys are just lucky you got a game 7. If Schneider put his closer in the 8th of game 5 instead of Little, we win that game too.
“The Jays are gonna get destroyed by the Dodgers.” Well then so were you if you had won. Don’t be so upset about losing if you would’ve had the same outcome. Respect to the Mariners team. ✌🏻
hahaha see yahhhh
What's on the side of your face is that a cysts ? You probably need to go see a doctor to have it removed! I know in America it my cost you 10k but do it before it turns into cancer 🙁
I feel you guys. Painful
America thanks Canada for eliminating the Miserables.
Maybe the blue jays will blow a 2 0 lead in the world series and lose in game 7 at home i honestly think the blue jays will be a better matchup against the dodgers than us but i don't care who wins now
Well we were so close! We played well and didn’t just lie down. I think came down to managerial decision by Wilson to not walk Springer, and to use Woo in this series. Also Julio at bat strategy was not good. But over all we pushed both series to the max. Might be a very long time before get back again . Go M’s!
What do you have to say about cheering and booing springers hit by pitch? Was it appropriate? No matter how much u hate the guy?
Perennial losers
I'm from Toronto, I've been to Seattle, amazing city, tough loss, you guys will get to the WS. Or Seahawks will win the superbowl.
Sucks it had to be the Mariners, you'll get it another time.
Jays fan here just to hopefully offer any kind of solace in saying the tension grew furious in that series, and I just cannot say our fanbase in general is like the loudest people who said some nasty stuff. Most of us thought you guys were fierce, dangerous, absolutely a grindy and tough team to get through. It came down to the absolute wire, a one run difference in Game 7, that's how much they fought. I also saw the emotion in the postgame interviews and heard the raw, massive scream from Julio in the clubhouse. That was honestly hard to see, it could have very easily been us.
I just wanted to say it was an amazing and incredibly tough series. In no way should they feel like they laid down for this. I know Mariners fans don't want to hear "chin up" stuff with the absolute droughts they've faced, but they should be really proud of their season.
That coach putting BAZ in against springer was awful springer saw BAZ last night then puts him in come on man, Dodgers gonna win anyway they were beating both of these teams, but dam everyone was saying what are you doing when he put BAZ in and then lost the game.
Let's get real, It doesn't matter what moves were made, The Mariners were always destined to Lose.
Springer dinger! HAHAHA
Manager decision was bad.but you can't expect to winmany games against that line up while scoring 3 runs. Outside of Julio and cal, there was (again) not much going on….
Thanks to you two! Hope you can find some rest during the hibernation and see you again next spring.
3:50 your salt tastes like sweet sweet nectar
Seattle lost the series in game 6 when you couldn’t close out two back to back bases loaded innings. The game today was tense on both sides but the better team won today.
With the Plug , the shit still came out !
Right now, as it stands today, I am done being a Mariners fan. Though I have only been a fan for 20 years, it’s been soooooooo rough being a fan. I used to be a season ticket holder, going to almost every home game (we only missed a handful of games) and many of the Mariners staff knew us by name and would say hi- UNTIL I was told by the Mariners to stop cheering the team on. Yes, you heard that right. My mom and I used to have signs made for each player and K’s for all the strike outs and I even had a cheer and a dance for every pitch and strike out. One day, a “fan” below me who always READ A BOOK during the game instead of watch the game, complained to the concierge for our section. The concierge reluctantly came to me and to told us “FANS WANT TO COME TO THE BALLPARK TO WATCH THE GAME IN PEACE AND QUIET, so you will need to keep it down”. Now, mind you, I didn’t have a drum or a cow bell or a horn, it was just me clapping and cheering. I wasn’t drunk or disorderly.
I NEVER swore or boo’d our players or even the opposing team, I was always positive and our signs were always positive!! Never mind that Red Sox fans puked all over the seats, spewing F*CK YOU BOMBS all over the place, passing out, requiring paramedics and an ambulance. NOT A WORD WAS SAID TO THEM. I was sooo mad I “twitted” MLB, the Mariners, Root Sports, etc telling them of the incident – sure they would be upset that a Mariners fan was told to be quiet at a Mariners game.
The next day, I get a call from someone saying he was the “President of Guest Experience/Relations” and asked “what do you ladies have to cheer about anyway, don’t you know it’s a losing season??”. I broke out laughing, thinking I was being punked and questioned who he really was. When he confirmed he was from the Mariners front office I said “you feel this way about the team, do the owners know this??” He continued and asked again why we were cheering, what was there to cheer about. I answered that the whole point of cheering was to provide encouragement and support to the players, not just when they do well. I asked him was he new to sports, was he not a sports fan? He said “we (the front office) have had many conversations this season about “you girls” and we would be more tolerant of the cheering if it was a winning season. But since it’s a losing seasons, fans don’t want to be disturbed with cheering at the park, they just want to sit and watch in peace and quiet”. I said this is a BASEBALL GAME OUTSIDE, not the ballet or the library. And I added that I doubted he or they are fans because fans cheer their team on, through losing and winning. And if they wanted to watch the game in peace and quiet, they could have stayed home. He explained that the ballpark experience should be good for all fans. I was flabbergasted- and said, so you are telling me I am only allowed to cheer if it’s a winning season???????? And I explained that Blue Jays fans take over our park, acting like it’s theirs and are soooo LOUD AND NASTY to us at our park- the Jays fans tell us to STFU when we cheer for the Mariners in our own park and YET they aren’t told to shut up, I asked why there are BIG SIGNS on the JUMBO-tron telling fans to “don’t be silent” and to cheer – I explained I am a knowledgeable fan and don’t need prompting as to when to cheer. He explained that was pretty much the extent of cheering desired- when the cheer sign were flashed. I asked where does it say that in the literature season ticket holders get?? And I said that I wish we were told ahead of time before plunking down $3600 each season JUST FOR THE TICKETS, not including food, drinks, merch. He said that I could cheer, “just quietly”. Mind you, this didn’t just happen once. We tried 3 different sections of the ballpark- Terrace Club- in the seats and in the glassed in area away from fan and the level outdoors, above the Terrace club. We were shhhhh’d everywhere we went. Again, told fans want peace and quiet and what the heck did we have to cheer about. Heartbreaking for a POSITIVE, cheering and money spending fan to be told NOT to cheer on the team.
On a positive, never forget moment- for Felix’s perfect game, I got to sit in the commissioner seats – these are the first 10 or 12 seats right on the field to the east side of the dugout. I was seat #1, the only thing between me and King Felix was a camera!!! I was on the side Felix would enter/exist the dug out From the very first pitch there was something magical, like a movie. The crowd was loud but hushed, like you see in the movies!! I had gone to sooo many games and sorta got to know the first base coach for the Tampa Bay Rays- last name of George, if I remember correctly, so for that game, we joked and he teased me that I could hold the first baseman’s glove until he needed it again. I told him we were going to win and to not “mention” what was unfolding on the field so not to jinx it. After the game, he said worked my heart out for that win!! LOL
I know by the time next season rolls around, I will be following the trades and cry over every sold off player as the ownership tears down the team yet again. Another slogan, another lie and another losing season. I will be cheering during spring training and do this all over again
I moved to The Villages Florida in June 2020, so I am a safe distance away from the ballpark and can cheer my heart out for the Mariners (and cry my heart out).
I have a genetic sickness called “the love of baseball” – I got it from my grandfather, Frank C Lane, known as Trader Lane. He was a MLB GM to many teams, the White Sox, Cincinnati Reds, Cleveland Indians, Milwaukee Brewers. At the end of his life, he was a scout for the Angels in Mexico and central/south America. He made more trades than any other GM EVER. He went to dinner one night with another GM, both complaining about their managers… my grandfather said “let’s trade managers” and they did!!! Also, my great uncle was a banker and asset manager and managed the Florida properties for Jacob Ruppert, the 2nd owner of the NYY. My uncle encouraged Ruppert to use Florida for spring training since the weather was so much better … and of course he did!! I have family photos of my great aunt and grandmother fishing with Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig at the Blue Run, on the Crystal River And photos of Ruppert and my uncle and Babe Ruth in front of a blimp!!
PLAY BALL!!!!!
Go get Skubal . haha
Thanks for all that you have done. I hope this isn’t this team’s peak
Buzzard Beatin´ Badly . SEE YA
We are all leaf fans… You're sorrows mean nothing to us. U don't even know what sorrow is. Call us in 30 more years noobie
Cheaters , beatin´by Cheaters . hahahahahahahahaha Boo Hoo
In defense of Dan Wilson I would say this: you play the people you trust, period. Personally, the only player I would have brought in would have been Castillo, but with runners on second and third, the Jays would have scored at least 1, no matter who the pitcher was.
I feel bad for Rodriques being the final out on a strikeout, as he had an outstanding game; he really didn't deserve that.
It was the MOST HEARTBREAKING LOSS IN MARINERS HISTORY, NOTHING TO TOP THAT
Couch Coaches . What , if , When .
Kirby should have been left in for at least another inning, maybe two. Then Woo relieves for an inning or two and Munoz closes it out. There's an alternate reality where Dan didn't blunder this game and I want to be in it.
Bluntly. Your offense was a joke you have 4 guys who know which end of the bat to use.
You guys earned your major radio gig congrats. Never called out shit all season🤮. But let’s hear your unsung hero like wtf cares
Well here's the thing. The Jays defeated Aaron Judge, they beat Cal Raleigh, and they pummeled all their best starting pitchers. That alone should tell you how good the Jays are.
Why not go to Munoz I will never forgive Dan Wilson for this
Thank you guys for starting these. I'm an East Coast fan and having something to listen to every day means a lot. I am gutted beyond belief but listened this morning. It was hard but I owed to you.
Blue Jays bullpen will not last against the Dodgers it might be a sweep in the world series
