Wildest NFL Practice Field? 🏈
Have you ever seen a more unique NFL practice field than where the Rams are this week? So, they’re practicing in the outfield of Camden Yards this week, home of the Baltimore Orioles. And yes, that’s a 50-yard field with no uprights. But wait, there’s more. Cuz there’s also this 25 yard field with no endzone or uprights over in right field. So, why are they putting themselves through this? The reasoning is actually really smart. They just played at Baltimore and next up are heading to London to play the Jaguars. Had they gone home to LA to practice and then from LA over to London, that’s 16 hours of flying this week. So Shawn McVey said, “No, we’re just going to hang out in Baltimore this week and then have a seven and a half hour flight over to London.” Obviously cutting their travel time this week in half. Just got to find a way to make a practice field work. So they found the Baltimore Orioles who didn’t make the playoffs and are using their outfield. So super smart by the Rams, but has to be the craziest NFL practice field I’ve ever seen.

When the superbowl was in Detroit one of the teams put a new field in at Wisner Stadium in Pontiac, the old high school field.

Love how NFL acts like the care about players safety but the have Thursday night games, Saturday games towards the end of the season when players are beat down, then have these dudes on 7+ hour flights
