To be fair, Tua and Trevor are carrying the majority of that.
So we have some potential trade options……
This next game is gonna be big for the QB talk lol
I feel like most “you have to pay him” contracts turn out to show no, you didn’t need to pay him actually. Should’ve let Ayton go to the Pacers.
Keep him another year, no way around it, and I don’t hate it. I would love to see him with another OC. And no I don’t believe “he had his chance with Kliff” because Kliff was not a good play caller & Designer for us. He did in fact improve his play design and calling AFTER leaving the NFL for a year.
You’re better off just signing a veteran who failed elsewhere like Mac Jones or Daniel Jones or Sam Darnold or taking a flier on a rookie than paying these middle of the road starting QBs who have never fallen on their faces but have never been elite that kind of money and kill your teams ability to build a roster. You can get three impact starters for the 40 mill in cap you’re giving to a mediocre QB.
Finding even a “mid” QB in the NFL is extremely hard to come by and why franchises don’t dump them like all the fans want if they’re not MVP level good.
Shit, a lot of Jags fans wanted to dump Lawrence and they gave him a massive extension instead.
Jaylen Hurts even falls into the mid category meaning you CAN win SB’s if you have the right coaching and team around them.
Having a QB who gives you even a chance to win is a lot more valuable to teams than fans want to believe.
For every 1 “mid” QB there’s like 10 Josh Rosen’s that get drafted lmao
they should all agree to a 3 way trade and move each QB to another location.

Cards drafting their next QB
I’m surprised Lawrence is listed here, I know Jacksonville has nose dived but he’s still good. So for these 3 guys and what teams could possibly trade for them. I think it’s gonna be like 6-8 teams with these ones chasing them.
Dolphins
Jets
Browns
Raiders
Vikings
Falcons
Saints
Those teams more or less could use a starting QB. Atlanta is a wildcard team because maybe they see Penix isn’t a franchise QB. Also what if a disgruntled QB like Allen, Lamar, or Burrow gets tired of their franchise not going far in the playoffs and wants out.
Please reply to this post when we trade Kyler to a NY team and he’s balls out being accurate as ever . Please.
And Deshaun Watson has a guaranteed $46 million coming next year.
All 3 QBs who need a change of scenery.
Although Tua should probably retire with his concussion history, but the allure of another big contract probably makes that unlikely. I don’t think it’ll be with Miami, but someone else will roll the dice with him.
Trevor Lawrence reminds me of Kyler in that he’s maddeningly inconsistent. He can look like a franchise QB one week and look like he should be a backup on the Jets the next. Both have also been “blessed” with some absolute dog water coaching staffs as well, although I do have to give the nod to Trevor here for enduring whatever the fuck that experiment was with Urban Meyer.
Have a feeling CJ Stroud will be on this list in the future too, the Texans are killing him with that OLine. Guy has talent, but is taking a ton of punishment again this year. I think Joe Burrow is too loyal to the Bengals and his WRs, but he’s another guy who is just getting brutalized behind an atrocious OLine.
