Tyrod named Starter.

  1. He wasn’t announced as the starter. But Woody trashing Fields infront of the media makes it pretty obvious.

  2. Fields’ inaccuracy literally got Wilson hurt. You had to make the change, even with the tank in mind.

  3. “Justin Fields can’t complete a pass and we can’t do shit with him playing quarterback” – Woody

“Completely up to Aaron Glenn who starts at QB this week” – also Woody lol

  4. It will take much more than Tyrod Taylor for the Jets to win and, if the planets become so aligned, we’re stuck winning no matter who’s throwing the ball in the ground or to the wrong team or not throwing the ball and getting sacked. I still think we should run Brady Cook in there just to see if he’s a gamer or an offseason release.

  5. Know that episode of South Park where the teachers threw Cartman under the bus
    Yeah that was Woody

  6. To all you tank commanders out here:

Tanking in the NFL is impossible. The sport is too dangerous and player careers are too short. Nobody is going to willingly torpedo their next contract and even (let’s be honest) risk their future physical well-being for a draft pick.

Also, tanking isn’t worth it because there are too many players on the field for one high draft pick to really change an entire team on its own. Unlike basketball and hockey (the sports where tanking is the most prevalent).

Hell, “selling your assets” at the end of a failed season is an accepted practice in hockey.

  7. Bold prediction. Fields will sign with the dolphins or bills then fade into the darkness .

Jets will sign Jordan Love in 10 years.

Feels like we’ve seen this movie before

  8. How many quarters til Taylor gets hurt? No confidence in his ability to last for an extended period of time.

  9. What’s the point at this juncture? The only thing I see potentially saving this franchise is running into a can’t miss franchise QB. #1 pick ups those odds if even a little bit. You just KNOW they’re going to play themselves out of that now.

  10. I give it 3 quarters before he’s hurt and Fields is back in.

Tyrod is more brittle than Chad Pennington was.

  11. We’ll probably have a semi functional offense with Taylor. Get Taylor and Smith the ball and let’s find out if the young rookies can help the team in this rebuild

  12. I’ve said it before on here but I really wanted Fields to work. We’ve seen QB’s have renaissances the past few years so maybe we could be on the other side of it for a change. But it wasn’t meant to be, I wish Fields the best. Let’s go Tyrod.

  13. For the life of me I can’t understand why you wouldn’t just throw Brady Cook out there and hope for some magic
