This guy hasn’t gotten enough credit for turning one of the worst offenses of the 21st century into a genuinely enjoyable product.

  1. Half of the sub literally can’t tell the difference between his offense and Matt Canada’s lol

  2. Gotta enjoy it while it lasts, if he maintains the level of performance we’ve been seeing the last few weeks it’s a safe bet he’ll get another HC job in the offseason.

  3. He is by no means my ideal coordinator but I am VERY happy with what he’s done to bring us back from the depths of hell. He has made offense fun for the first time in a long time

  4. I think it also has to do with Rodger’s and actually being able to use his scheme. You can draw up the best play but without the talent it’s meaningless and Rodger’s allows those plays to work

  5. He immediately improved the offense from Matt Canada. A hall of fame QB also elevates pretty much any offense. But he’s got the chess pieces he wants – star receiver, a handful of quality TE options, and a smart QB. If this team had a top tier RB, they’d be in damn good shape offensively.

  6. There are still some things I don’t like. But this is night and day from Canada. And….. Aaron is smart enough to audible if he needs to. Russ just bent the knee and did what he was told.

  7. Not to mention he probably doesn’t even have to work if he doesn’t want to, considering his father founded FedEx.

  8. His offense works with out a number 2. You get Calvin back and this offense has developed a better identity so should evolve even more. I would love to trade for someone but this offense doesn’t really need two work horse wr. It’s you feed dk and Rodger just throws what the defense dictates. Put out a big set and then you got Darnell and other te that you can throw to or hang the ball off with two capable backs the last couple of weeks. Eagles tried to feed the ball to two wr and they have lost. On a side note Aaron made this offensive line actually look good.

  9. I have to agree, hes the best OC we’ve had in a hot minute. I wouldn’t be surprised if we grab another offensive weapon before the trade deadline either the way Omar has been cooking. I think our biggest challenge Will be injuries down the stretch. Also, if Broderick Jones doesn’t take Rodgers out before the season ends that would be fine.

  10. Offense seems to be doing fine. Never thought I’d say this but it’s the defense I’m concerned with now.

  11. The same people that dont like him wanted us to hire him as head coach when he was the ‘flavor of the month/best coordinator’ a few years ago.

  12. Oh no he IS getting credit. He’s on the titans short list of head coach candidates.

I think more and more guys are going to just stay coordinators though, especially after failing as HC their first time. There have been so many instances… just stay in your lanes.

Arthur isn’t in it for the money. So he’s doing what he enjoys. He should do it where he can do it best and I think Aaron and the freedom under Mike and his favorite weapon in Jonnu..

if we make a run I hope we can retain him.

  13. I credit Rodger’s cagey QB play and constantly putting us in the best looks and checking out of plays, more than Smith, for the turnaround from last year. But give Smith some credit too

  14. I really hope we can re-sign him beyond his initial 3 year contract. But I’m not sure if he’s had enough of being a head coach yet and suspect he’s probably just waiting for the right opportunity.

I’m a little worried we lose him to Tennessee.

  15. Nothing really changed until we got a competent QB to execute it. But yeah, it’s nice to see sustained drives rather than constant 3 and outs.

  16. The offense just “looks” good.

We can run it. We can pass it. And it’s smooth AF.

I am used to us taking TOs because we can’t get the play in on time or up to the line etc.

I don’t even remember the last time it was this smooth.
