  12. There are very few burdens for a pro sports owner to deal with. But one of them is to maintain, or attempt to maintain is more like it, a baseline level of graciousness and decency about your players

    Incredibly, even though Justin Fields is exactly what we thought he was, Woody could not even successfully pull this off.

  27. It’s time to coordinate a movement among the fans that goes beyond flying a sell the team banner before games. I’m not sure what the answer is, but the fans need to get more creative in the calls to sell the team. I really wish 0 people would show up to MetLife.

  31. Woof. What good does this do to say publicly? It makes an untenable situation to keep Fields now when there’s still a lot of football to be played. Not saying he would warrant much of a return, but now it feels like they HAVE to cut or move him.

    Makes ZERO sense. Just shut up and shift Fields to a backup. Who knows maybe you reinsert him in a few weeks to see how things look, or you go to him if there’s an injury. Just dumb.

  37. In his last two years with different head coaches, Justin Fields posted a 9 win and 10 loss record. So this idea that the Jets abysmal team situation is all on the QB is joke.
