New England Patriots Foundation Hosts “TailGate” Dog Adoption Event at Patriot Place
All of these animals are here because they have been either surrendered or in some cases neglected and they are all being given a second chance right now. Uh it’s a great event, right? It’s football, family, the community, and pets. Who doesn’t love that? It’s saving a life. It’s giving, you know, a soul that might have a terrible life otherwise a beautiful, loving home. This is something very near and dear to not only my heart, but my family’s heart. We have four adopted dogs at home. And so we’re here at the Patriots tailgate. A little bit different tailgate than what people are used to. A lot of great dogs that are here to be adopted today. And I am so thrilled. One of our organizations has actually adopted all of the puppies out. They brought seven dogs. They’re already adopted before the game even started. We’ve just had such a terrific outpouring from the community. You know, people gathering who are like-minded, who really want to say like no to the idea that animals are disposable and yes to animals having loving homes.
Former Patriots players David Andrews and Brian Hoyer teamed up with Dr. Dana Kraft and the New England Patriots Foundation to host a “TailGate” dog adoption event at Patriot Place to help give rescued dogs a second chance at a forever home.
