Lively is like one of 3 people I have seen give wemby a somewhat hard time. Tough matchup.
I mean you can put cassell vassell Barnes wemby kornet and not have a disadvantage size wise and can space the floor with kornet as roller or in the dunker spot for lobs
Missing Olynyk and Jeremy is really gonna hurt matchup wise. We could use all the size we could get (pause) against this Mavs team.
Vic is going to remind people how terrifying he is against teams that don’t play a stretch big to pull him out from the paint.
Based on preseason I’d guess:
Flagg – Castle
Klay – Vassell
Washington – Champagnie
AD – Wemby
Lively – Barnes
Alternatively Kornet for Champs and he guards Lively while Barnes guards PJ. This matches up better defensively but our spacing is much worse and more pressure on Biyombo to be a legit backup C.
I do think Spurs are probably going to have some size issues against teams when Fox is healthy and replaces Champs making us even smaller.
Let’s hope their playmaking is dogshit as that lineup suggests.
The best ball handler and passer is Flagg and it’s his first ever NBA game.
Both Klay, Lively and to an extend PJW aren’t on ball players and need to be served their shots.
I think we see plenty French Vanilla tonight
Spurs are going to beat the brakes off the Mavs. Can’t wait to see it.

The Big Ball(s) era has arrived
Flagg at PG, they have that luxury.

But the Spurs have that 1 big to rule them all.
