  1. If they aren’t going to trust him to play, this is for the best. It would be great if he could be sent to the AHL, but that’s not an option right now.

  2. Shoulda done that a week ago.

But hey, let’s just have him sit and watch some hockey rather than tearing it up and developing in the O

  3. Okay, now fulfill my order for Joakim Kemell, please and thank you.

ETA: expected him to play his full 9, but I guess they want to try to win 🤷‍♀️

  4. i’m kind of relieved he’s in the OHL so he could develop more and try new things…

    EDIT: typo fixed

  5. What are we doing ??? We suck let the dude get as much as experience as possible in the NHL.

  6. >10:00 TOI isnt helping anything. If he’s your 1C then play him like a 1C not 13F type of minutes. They are playing helicopter parent when they should be letting the kid play.

I don’t understand giving roster spots or top line assignments only to take any player off after 3 shifts. Brunos line shuffling is abysmal.

  7. Don’t hate it even if it was the plan. Got a hand full of games, got plenty of practice with full timers, one more game to action those things he practiced and then go kill it OHL. Not to mention probably ~80k in his pocket from 15 days of being in the NHL probably helps him and possibly even his family

  8. This is best for him right now if the Preds aren’t going to use him more.

It’s one thing, sensible even, to space out his games played. But when he is in the lineup, he needs to be utilized in various situations so that he can learn from them. Playing 10 mins a night of heavily sheltered minutes in only home games is not helping to build him for the future.

  9. Kid’s just not ready for the big show yet. Go tear it up in the Ohl while getting bigger physically and be ready to dominate rookie/ training camp next year.

  10. Congratulations to Martin for escaping the whirlpool of incompetence at Bridgestone Arena. Enjoy your freedom.
