  1. Bryce stans were annoyed when people said stroud was better bcuz “Bryce’s situation was bad” & now that stroud’s situation is bad they completely disregard that

  2. Can we give players who show flashes a few years years before calling them a bust?

Over the years we’ve heard that:

Steve Smith is too much of a hothead. He’s not even our best receiver and keeping him hurts team chemistry.

Julius Peppers takes too many plays off to justify his price tag.

Thomas Davis is a tweener and too injury prone.

Jaycee Horn is too Injury Prone

Hurney is so stupid drafting a LB high when we already have Jon Beason

We spent a top 10 pick on a DT and he’s getting benched. Derrick Brown sucks.

Honestly I think both Stroud and Young will both be good starters in the NFL. QB’s take awhile to figure it out and they always have a slump when DC’s get a good read on their tendencies.

  3. When I watch CJ now vs CJ his rookie year, his drop off is as much to do with film as it is lack of support. NFL d-coordinators will find a way to make a QB prove themself over and over again, and it all starts with film. Some QBs make a splash early but can’t survive the tale of the tape. Look at Jayden Daniels this season—even when healthy, he’s had a much harder time.

  4. Can we not.

Stroud’s been fine. Not his fault the Texans traded Laremy Tunsil, got nothing to replace him, and then were confused when their already-bad line looked even worse out of the gate this year.

  5. I like both these kids. Want them both to succeed. Stroud’s line is horrid. But it sure looks like he’s regressed. I’m still of the opinion that Bryce is a game manager at best and certainly wasn’t worth what we gave up for him. But to that point, I think we can win with him, as other teams have won without top tier quarterbacks.

But can we please stop making these stupid comparisons? With Caleb Williams too. We get it. We could’ve theoretically picked stroud or Williams in an alternate universe. We picked who we picked. We either succeed with him or move on. It’s that simple.

I don’t give a fuck about the Texans quarterback’s stats. That’s not panthers content. If I wanted to see that I’d go the r/nfl.

  6. If you watch Stroud rookie season the Texans pass protection was great even though they played a bunch of back ups. Also Tank Dell is the most important piece on that offense

  7. what made Tom TOM. He would be out practicing the day after superbowls. He never stopped trying to get better. Bryce Young was being destroyed in the media his rookie year, while people were saying stroud was the next brady. I think this coupled with offensive line play has led to this statistic. Bryce is improving. I dont know that he will ever be a Tom Brady but he might be a pro bowler. Carolina panthers oline is 3x as good as they were 2 years ago

  8. I swear to god if you guys turn on him after another loss or two I’m leaving this sub
