Caleb didn't play very well, but plays like this make me think it was more about the whole passing offense not getting in rhythm, and we'll hit these down the road when it counts. 🐻⬇️

Felt like it ended up being at least a 10 point swing in the game.

  3. That’s been the thing with Caleb this year. Yea he’s had bad games but really, a drop here, a penalty there and the way we look at his season is different.

    I’m also sure you can say that about most of the quarterbacks too.

  7. I love the anticipation on this throw. You can really see it in the slow-motion replay, but Caleb lets it go as soon as he sees that Rome is about to turn his head.

  8. Okay? Caleb also had a lot of shitty throws. It’s great they won but Caleb was still the worst player on offense outside maybe a Oline who really shouldn’t even be playing

    Edit: and the down votes are too funny. People protect Caleb like a family member and take offense to any criticism. Anyone who thinks Caleb did not play poorly is absolutely in denial.

    Caleb played like shit. You won’t win many games in the NFL with that level of performance from your QB. Can see just like with Fields way too many have attacked their Fandom to Williams and have be his white knight on Reddit.

  9. If there’s been one knock on Rome, it’s been his drops on contested catches. I feel like that’s the one thing holding him back from being truly elite, he just has let a bunch bounce off his hands when there’s a defender tight.

  10. Wait, what?? “Caleb didn’t play well…”, yeah, but why show a clip where the receiver obviously should’ve caught the ball there… there’s a million other clips that showed his bad play

    It turned what was at worst going to be a 23-0 halftime score to giving the Saints new life and momentum going into half

    Getting even a FG and going into half could have led to a blowout

  13. That’s a bad crucial drop by Rome. He’s had a few of these. He’s good but needs to clean this up to be great.

  14. I agree but I just chalked this up to the DB having great coverage. It was a hell of a throw on the run.

  15. I agree, Caleb has taken care of the ball first and foremost through this win streak, and there are a lot of these penalties and drops that are hurting the passing game as a whole not on him. Specifically the Olamide Zaccheaus drop with wide open space at the end of the Commanders game when we were backed up in our own end zone.

  16. Bears really need to work on scramble drill. Watching the all 22 every game, they don’t help Caleb out at all. So many times he is fighting to keep the play alive and receivers are just standing around not even trying to get open

  18. Mind you Rome has drops like this yet the fanbase entertains trading DJ to make Rome the number 1.. I think not. Rome is good but he has some ways to go

  19. Yea drops really do hurt him I feel like. This one was tougher as the defender had his arms but some others are brutal like OZ last week that would have been 80 yards and a TD.

  21. Agreed, but we should have been running the ball there. The last drive before half should have been three runs; instead we are throwing it all over the yard.

  22. Issue is everyone is holding him to this standard like next game HAS to be better than previous which is dumb. Even Tom Brady in his prime had bad games. It’s okay for bad games to be mixed in between the good ones. Doesn’t mean he’s not developing or getting better. And tbh I wouldn’t even call this a bad game on his part. On paper maybe. But not on the field.

  24. Idk if anyone else notices the only passes Rome drops are the ones that are a bit wild on Caleb’s end.. this ball has some heat on it and you can watch it flail its way into romes hands which causes the drop..
