The #astros fall, again! Down but Not out!

Okay, what’s going on folks? This is not how we drew it up, but then again, this is the season of the injury. Hello, I’m Han Wheelhouse here with Locked on Astros. And the Astros, who have found themselves at top of the AL West until these last couple games with the most injured team in all of baseball history, have lost the second straight game. And it was at the hands of Frober Valdez, who has been terrible, is one and eight in his last 10 starts. The Astros are one and nine in his last 10 starts. He just has not been himself. Um, when you get those breaking pitches over the plate, they are high in the zone. People are going to hit them far and they did tonight. And the Astros offense didn’t show up except Jeremy Pena decided to hit a grand slam. That was fun. That made it cool. It was neat. We had a lot of opportunities eighth to ninth inning. But now at this moment, they are out of the playoff race. They are tied with the Guardians. The Guardians own the tiebreaker, but the Guardians play the Tigers. One of those teams is going to eliminate the other. The Mariners have the Rockies. Let’s hope they lose against them and the Dodgers. The Dodgers still need to stay in front of the Padres’s to keep their spot at top the National League playoff picture. So, there’s a lot that can still happen in seven games. Astros send Jason Alexander to the mound in game three. They try to get back to their winning ways before they go on the road for their final six. This is going to be a fun six games after tomorrow. So, Astros, get it

  1. Once again, like most of our games we had plenty of chances to come ahead but we waited to do anything til later in the game and then blew it in the end. I knew as soon as Correa hit that pop fly it was gonna get caught but The Astros got too excited and got doubled out and then continue to blame the game on that and the umps when we need to take responsibility and hold ourselves accountable for not getting it done with the chances we had before.

  2. Mariners just made a statement with this dominating performance. Astros so out matched this year against them. Hopefully they get a win today but this team makes me nervous. Can’t wait till next season to start already. Go stros!

  3. Offense is horrible! Wow! But I do remember this GM saying he did not believe in making anyone (meaning players, of course) rich! So I guess we will never get any great talent anymore.

  4. Rebuild the Team, Starters, Bullpen need to get younger. High Velocity is needed on the Team instead of Journeymen.

The Lineup Batting Order is a Mess. Jose Altuve bat 2nd and Carlos Correa bat 4th should switch each other in the order.
