Man, I just wish we had receivers that could catch.
The ceiling really is insane. He’s had high highs and low lows but giving up on this dude already is lunacy.
And people wonder why I’m not discouraged by the stats
On his end he’s just gotta clean up the fumbles, otherwise everything else I’ve seen negative-wise is just Cam going through the motions of common raw rookie mistakes and the rest of our offense needing to get their shit together
“Cam is already a bust!!!”
I know people are upset after the fumbles the past 2 weeks, but other than that and like 2 missed throws, this past week was his best performance of the year. He’s clearly still a rookie working on things like consistent footwork and holding onto the ball with pressure in his face, but I am optimistic that with the coaching change we will get to see more of the good and less of the bad. If he can avoid just simply dropping the ball but otherwise have games like this past week through the rest of the year, I think we’re all going to feel really good about him. Also crazy that he’s had less turnover worth plays than turnovers, at some point a bit of it is just bad luck.
Wow great throws

I’m erect
So many cross body and across the field throws, but none of them are being put in harm’s way. Like he’s not just throwing late over the middle for the fun of it. He’s picking his places to be aggressive with the throws that the defense is giving up because they don’t think he’ll try them.
Fuckin A someone get open for this man so every throw he makes isnt some crazy cross body tight window throw
The guys comparing him to Levis need to stick to regular season baseball.
And people want to tell me this kid is already a bust. Come on man. Let the kid grow, gain some knowledge. Give him some time to learn too. Sheesh.
If Ward flops in Tenn he’ll be one of those guys that become really good on another team under proper coaching.
Take Bane in the top 3, then draft a WR in the 2nd and 3rd
Will Levis highlights were impressive throws fitting the ball into tight windows, which was impressive; but man, Cam’s throws are just so different.
This helps. We need a real OC. He has the talent and just give him an OL.
Fix those feet, stop dropping the ball, maybe don’t wind up so low (tipped balls) and he can be really good.
It’s mechanical things, not decision making. That’s a positive.
Although I’d really rather quit those cross body throws and little flips.
The problem is he’s having to live like this on a full time basis to get anything done. It isn’t supposed to be this hard and he shouldn’t have this many throws like this in only 7 games lol. These are the things you keep in the reserve tank when you need it, he’s having to pull out all the stops just to move the ball down the damn field.
The fumbles are due for some negative regression…he currently does have a fumbling problem. I don’t remember the exact stat but it was something like Cam has 6 turnover worthy plays, but 10 turnovers. That’s the biggest issue with him. He throws some inaccurate balls, but last game the stat was 3 misses, which is fantastic on 34 throws, it just happened one or two were wide open and 3rd down, so they are under a microscope. And it’s usually lazy footwork, which is coachable.
I don’t understand what’s hard to understand. He was a raw QB that would have done well to sit behind a vet for a year. Unfortunately he had to go right out of the gate because he was #1 and we didn’t sign a startable vet. I hope he can get a couple more wins under his belt by season’s end, and see how he improves with more involvement from Helm, Dike, and Ridley whenever he returns.

Those cross body throws really are bonkers.
