Josh Hamilton and Matt Harvey for hitting and pitching coaches. Who says no
None of the coaches matter. It’s organizations with good processes that make the coaches. They’re all basically fundamentally good coaches.

Perry probably thinks we’re not striking out enough. Leading the league in strikeouts doesn’t cut it. He won’t rest until we only walk, homer, or strikeout.
I have 3 years experience coaching 8-year-olds. I believe that may make me overqualified for the job, but maybe I’ll apply for hitting coach.
How about we invest in scouting and player development and maybe training and conditioning?
Cool. Now find new trainers who can help these guys stay in shape and prevent them from getting injured.
