What’s going on, Bulls fans? You are watching the Bulls Report by Chat Sports. My name is Patrick Zman and here giving you guys my thoughts on the Bulls season opener against the Detroit Pistons where he won this basketball game 115 the 111 and we’re going to focus in here on Modis Buselis. He looked absolutely amazing yesterday. Okay, so we’ll talk about the game, talk about Modest here in a second, but if you guys could hit that subscribe button today, closing in here on 13,000 subscribers here on YouTube. Obviously, when you beat your division rival, one of your rivals in the NBA, the Detroit Pistons at home during the opener, it feels good. But this guy right here, Modis Bzelis, was absolutely fantastic. 21 points yesterday, had an assist, six rebounds, seven to 12 from the field. Now, he was 0 for three from downtown. But I mean, if he starts connecting with that three ball at a high level, like this guy could be a walking 23 24 a night guy and I thought was on the most impressive part about Bzelis is that he was just fitting in the flow of the offense yesterday. you know, it wasn’t him, you know, being the primary ball handler, you know, him running a lot of pick and rolls. Like, he did that in certain spots, but it was mainly just him playing in the flow, giving the or taking the chances that the defense has given him, and he looked awesome. And probably the biggest highlight of his game was this poster dunk he had on Isaiah Stewart. This guy also was zealous. He is a fantastic cutter. I think it’s one of the most underrated things about the NBA and honestly just basketball at every single level. When you’re playing, guys driving, you got to have the ability to find that cutting lane. And when you’re the athlete, 6’10, can jump out the gym like Buzzelis is, you’re gonna have a lot of wide openen dunks. And this poster on Isaiah Stewart was absolutely ridiculous. I don’t even think the pictures here show it justice. He fully cocked it back, went on his head. He also had that clutch time aloop. Um, shot to Trey Jones. It was a hell of a play. Threw it up to Bisellis. Bulls were tied 107 107 and Bzelis dunked it in. I mean, he is just a awesome basketball player and I love his mentality out there. Like, you saw him defending at a high level. you saw him really getting into it and he is a guy where, you know, the Bulls fan base, we’ve been looking for a player. We’ve been looking for that young star that we can really just kind of fully buy into and a guy who’s easy to root for. That’s what Buzzellis is. Like his potential is skyhigh. Now, I think when it’s all said and done this season, if I had to predict kind of his statline, I could see him being an 18, 19 a game scorer, averaging around six, seven rebounds a game. Maybe gets that assist number up to two, three, four a night, but also giving you great defense. also had three blocks in this game. He is an incredible offball defender, a very intelligent basketball player, and also the frame. He looked like he seriously put on 10 to 15 pounds of just pure muscle. Now, he’s kind of got that, you know, upside down Christmas tree build where he’s got super broad shoulders, but it comes in very nicely. And he is just a guy who’s going to keep on getting better. His handle is still ridiculous at 6’10. And if he just keeps on developing to who I think he will be and he’s got the right mindset to do so. He’s got that intensity, got that tenacity that you want out of your superstar, like he could truly be a special player here in the NBA. But, you know, fully confident in Buzellis, you know, really being that franchise guy for the Bulls. Now, can he be a number one option on a championship team? You know, maybe that’s a little rich, but if he just stays on the path he is, like I think the sky is the limit for this kid. I just can’t believe he fell also number 11 in the NBA draft. Like, that was absolutely insane. especially that was a weak draft class. But shout out to Buzzale, man. He played some great ball yesterday. And if you guys want to show Modus Bisella some love, type his jersey number, type those 14s down below. I think we have a, you know, pitcher star here in Chicago. And for the first time in a while, like they actually had me excited to watch this Bulls team. You guys know I’m pretty negative around this team, but has completely changed that. So, shout out to Modis. Go type those 14s down below. Now, I do want to show some love to some other players on the Bulls roster. Really impressed me yesterday. Mainly Trey Jones. He was probably the biggest bright spot that I didn’t expect in yesterday’s game. So, we’ll talk about that here in a second. But first, I want to give a massive shout out to today’s presenting sponsor, and that is Prize Picks. Now, you and I make decisions every day, but on Prize Picks, being right can get you paid. That is promo code CLNS to get $50 in lineups after you play your first $5 lineup. But mass shout out to Prize Picks for sponsoring today’s show. Prize Picks, it’s good to be right now. Everybody’s favorite bowl yesterday. Nicole Vuchovich had a hell of a game. Uh 28 points, 14 rebounds. Now, the one issue with Vu is, and again, I’m talking about issues after he’s coming off a good game, but he is very three-point reliant. Like the difference between Vu having a good game and a bad game is really if he’s knocking down this three-point shot because as he’s gotten older, he is still a net negative defensively. Like Kate Cunningham, he got to his spots yesterday attacking him off that pick and roll. He was just missing wide openen jumpers. But Buch offensively, I thought he was awesome. He also gave the Bulls some life there in that first quarter. Um or the offense, you know, obviously they came out the gates humming, but Vu really extended that lead, hitting down, you know, some big time three-point shots. So, I will give credit to Vu. He looked pretty good yesterday. Honestly, could be increasing his trade value for the NBA trade deadline, which is good. But Josh Giddy thought he played pretty solid yesterday. 19 points, 11 assists, five rebounds, five of 12 from the field. Did have six turnovers. Now, I would probably credit him for maybe four or five of those turnovers. Uh, one was just off uh, you know, guys dropping passes, but you know, Giddy looked good and he was also getting, you know, other players easy shots. And you know what I thought was so interesting about the Bulls starting lineup yesterday, them going Josh Giddy and Trey Jones starting. The amount of playmaking you have in that starting lineup with Josh Giddy and Trey Jones is through the roof. Like Giddy having 11 assists yesterday and then Trey Jones knocking his in uh, knocking his eight assist in as well. But the thing I love about Trey Jones, he’s never trying to do too much. Like he’s a very self-aware basketball player. He knows he’s not going to be a guy who’s going to mix tape guys off the dribble, you know, get to his spots. He’s just trying to make his other teammates look better. And when you have two guys like that, Trey Jones, Josh Giddy with a bunch of wings that are very young trying to develop on the perimeter, like I do see the vision that the Bulls were going with in this um you know, heading into the season. So, shout out to Trey Jones. He was awesome late in the clutch yesterday. Like, you just can’t stay in front of this guy. Like, his handle was ridiculous. He’s got a very quick first step, so he impressed me a whole lot. And then IO defensively was absolutely awesome. Um, this guy picking up full court like he really does play like a Chicago point guard. You know, obviously playing high school hoops in Chicago like he is the definition of a Morgan Park guard or Simeon guard where they’re picking you up 94 feet, super long wingspan. He was just getting after it and you know wasn’t too efficient from the field yesterday, but if I could replicate this throughout the year like he will just keep on getting better. So, you know, shout out to IO and, you know, talking about him defensively. He was getting the Kade Cunningham assignment for majority of that game. You know, he did a good job on him. I mean, Cade was pretty inefficient yesterday. Now, also with a guy like Cade who was at that superstar level, you can’t really slow him down too much. It really just came down to him, you know, missing some of his wideopen shots. But still, you hold him to eight of 24. He had three turnovers, 23 and 10. Like, that’s a solid game for Cade, but IO did just enough to limit him where the Bulls, you know, thankfully didn’t blow a 23-point comeback yesterday. Now, this guy off the bench, I will give Kevin Herder some credit. Even though I don’t think he is a, you know, tremendous defender, he always fights and that’s really all you can want out of a guy off the bench who his main responsibility is to knock down open shots, but he does fight a lot defensively. He plays his tail off. I mean, he just hits the glass hard also as well. I mean, for a 6’5 guy, Kevin Herder really impressed me again yesterday. And, you know, he was also good when the Bulls brought him in after that Zack Lavine trade. Him and Zack Collins give you some juice off the bench. And that’s also the thing with the Bulls bench is like you start looking at these other benches around the NBA, a lot of these guys are young developmental pieces where the Bulls truly have a lot of veterans there like Kevin Herder, Zack Collins, like even Patrick Williams at this point would be considered a veteran. And then IO, he plays like a vet. So they have like real mature basketball players which I think would just again continuously help the young guys for this team. But honestly guys, this what is your hottest take after the Bulls win versus Detroit Pistons? For me, I think Bzelis has an outside chance to be an all-star. It will come down to him getting more touches, more shots because, you know, they weren’t really running the offense through him. But with his cutting ability, him being great in transition, he’ll just naturally get to like 14 16 points a night. Now, can he get up to 20 23? I think that’ll come down to him just getting more touches and getting more shots within the offense. But you guys let me know what is your hottest take after the Bulls win versus the Pistons. And make sure you guys do hit that subscribe button on your way out. Go closing in here on 13,000 subs. So, we see you guys next time. As always, go Bulls.

Hey the difference this year Pat, in which started last what mid season is they actually playing like they belong. Like they belong in the NBA the spotlight. In which before they just looked lost, like all the time. They stood around, well was too use to standing waiting on Zach or Vuc to make a move…Now,Every man knows their Capabilities what they can do and how to do it. Also, they get the time they deserve now to show their potential with Zach and Denar out the way. I would love to see Collins be that man as we've seen he could be if Vuc was completely out the Pic. All in all,the team looked smooth for once and even better than what was shown last season after the all star break. I'm loving this, hope the young fellows keep it up and prove the doubters WRONG
